ooc: Everyone, student or resident, is invited this! A fun event for all the townspeople, and visitors as well! Please join in! Here is Mizu's costume. XD Here!ic: Halloween, while not a widely practiced holiday in Japan, had become something of a favorite for Miura City residents. It was really the one time of year that everyone could forget their problems, to come together dressed in a silly costume and catch up with friends and family in the area. Sometimes tourists and other visitors to the city even joined in, and hence they got to meet newbies as well. Mizusawa wasn't all that great with introductions and meeting new people, but he did enjoy going their to hang out with friends, especially those from the tumbling team. It was a rare occurrence that they had a break from team practice and could just talk like this, so he valued any moment like this that they had. And the great thing about the Halloween Ball was that they could be as goofy as they liked, and no one would care. Everyone who attended the party went for the fun of it, after all. Although, this year Mizusawa was kinda feeling a little silly. Because this time around, his mom had gone and gotten a costume for him, without actually asking him what he wanted to be or not. He never usually gave it too much thought anyway, but still...maybe this was just a little too...conspicuous. Sure, he enjoyed having fun with friends at the party, but he didn't want to be noticed by everyone. But surely the bright red and white stripes of his Waldo from Where's Waldo costume would be giving him away easily. "People won't be saying where's Waldo, they'll be saying, there's Waldo..." He murmured to himself, holding up the striped shirt against the bright light in his bedroom. He looked over at his pet rabbit, Kinouki--Ki for short--who was munching on a celery stick contentedly in his cage. "What do you think, Ki? Am I going to make a complete fool of myself?" He smiled at the rabbit, then reached out with one hand to pat it on the head gently. If he didn't hurry, he'd be late for the ball, and a late Waldo was nearly as bad as one who was too early. So, changing out of his school clothes and taking a quick shower, he put on the silly costume, both hat and glasses included, then looked in the mirror. He grimaced. Man, it was going to be hard not to laugh at himself in this get-up. "All set, Taku-kun?" His mother's voice rang from downstairs. "Yup," he answered her, tugging the hat down more over his thick hair, and giving his flamboyant costume one final look before trudging down the stairs. "Oh, Taku, you look wonderful!" His mom was beaming at him in the silly costume, and he laughed. "Really, mom? I feel like a complete idiot." He smiled at her reassuringly. "I'm sure I'll have fun." They'd exchanged a set of good-byes, and then Mizusawa had zipped up his jacket, at least to hide as much of his costume as he could, before trudging all the way down the town hall. He would have felt stupid, walking around wearing a Waldo hat and glasses, but as it was, other people were on the street in costume as well, putting his mind at ease. Most of them were headed to the town hall as well too, so he didn't feel too lonely on the trip there. By the time he got to the hall, he was treated to the sight of the entire place already decorated in flashy Halloween designs. Fake bats hanging from the trees out front, cobwebs thick and everywhere, Halloween music blasting from the town speakers, and jack-o-lanterns decking the front lawn completely. It was a tradition that the elementary school kids create jack-o-lanterns for the festival, hence why there were always so many for the Halloween Ball. He followed a family of vampires in through the open front double-doors, into an area that was full of warmth and swarmed with people. As he took off his jacket, he saw that there was a live band playing up ahead in the ballroom, where many people were already dancing. He passed a few girls from his class, giggling, dolled up in makeup and dressed in short kimonos. He nodded to them with a small smile as he passed them, before continuing forward, hoping he could find his own friends. The smell of delicious Halloween goodies suddenly plagued his senses, and he eagerly made his way over to the nearby food table, located in the same corner of the room every year. Even now, he could see all the different things that had been set out--including his favorite, a kind of pumpkin gelato that never failed to anything less than delicious. He was reaching out to grab a plate to start putting some of the treats on, when he suddenly felt another hand on his and heard a loud, "BOO!". He looked up to see who had accidentally grabbed the plate at the same time and attempted to scare him. Tag: ANYONE! ;D Let the festivities begin! \^_^/

ooc: Kaneko's outfitSorry, I'm not 100% happy with this post, but I think it can be good enough! Edit: thanks Lee for a new link for the Imperial March, in case YouTube doesn't work ic: Halloween. Definitely not a typical Japanese thing. But it was so funny and always more people made up parties every year for it. Kaneko had prepared his costume since he found out about the party at the City Hall. He had planned to go for a while and was surprised when the others mentioned they would go as well. But they all agreed not to tell to the others what they were going to wear. Kaneko had been a bit doubtful after that: he had originally thought he would go alone, or maybe just with Mizusawa or Yuuta or Satoshi. But with the whole team coming, he was seriously considering if the others might have had something to say about his costume. "But this is Darth Vader..." Kaneko whispered to himself. To say he was a huge fan of Star Wars would be reductive: Kaneko had lost count of the times he had watched all the movies. He even joined an online community about it. Kaneko looked at the posters all around his room and his eyes fixed on the Darth Vader's poster sticked on the wall next to his bed. "Yosh! I'll do it!" He opened his drawer and pulled out his costume. He slowly started to change, thinking about the night ahead: they were all definitely going to have fun. It was right then when Kaneko's mother knocked on his door. " Darling are you ready?" "Almost done mom!" " Do you want me to drive you there?" Kaneko thought about it for a second, before a thought crossed his mind: it would be cool to walk down the street with that costume. "No mom, thanks!" He heard his mother walk away and he finished to dress himself up. Just when he was about to leave his room, he stopped. What if...He looked at his ipod placed on his desk. Maybe that would be too much...But the idea... oh he really liked it... Hey, this happens only once a year, so why not?Kaneko sat in front of his laptop... well, he tried to, his costume being sort of in the way, but he managed to do what he wanted to do, deleting all the songs in his ipod and replacing it with the one he wanted. "Time to go!" Easier said than done: it felt like his body was thrice as big as usual, so his movements were a bit slow. He positioned his ipod in a side pocket and grabbed his helmet before leaving his room. "Mom I'm going!" " Okay! Have fun!" As soon as he was out of his house, Kaneko pulled his helmet on and had to adjust it a bit to fit his glasses as well. He then started walking towards the City Hall, which luckily wasn't that far from his house. All the people he met on the street, giggled when they looked at him. Some kids even walked to him just to touch his costume. Kaneko was grinning widely. As soon as he neared the hall, he could hear music blasting loudly. The place, even outside, had been completely covered with Halloween themed decorations. This place is a jungle Kaneko thought when he reached the doors of the main hall. Kaneko smirked. It's time to do itHe reached for his ipod and turned it on, setting the only song on "Repeat". And when the theme started to play, he finally entered. Sure, the music blasting from the speakers was covering it quite a lot, but all the people around him could clearly hear it: at first they would look at him totally surprised, then some would start giggle, other laughing, others patted him on his back while he was making his way towards a nearby food table. And that's when he saw him. Even with the fake glasses and hat and weird costume, it was almost impossible not to notice that Waldo was actually Mizusawa. Or should I say the opposite. Kaneko was planning to just go and greet him, but then an idea crossed his mind. He doesn't know what I'm wearingHe quietly walked right behind him and when he saw Mizusawa reaching for a plate to start collecting some candies, he quickly grabbed his hand, while screaming "BOO!" When Mizusawa looked up, Kaneko started laughing. "Sorry, did I really scared you?"

ooc: Keiko's Halloween costume~Keiko hated Halloween. Well, no, no she didn’t, she hated the dressing up that everyone thought was required. She didn’t plan on dressing up. She didn’t even plan on going to the Halloween ball being hosted at the town hall. Her older sister, Aya, thought it would do her good to go out and have fun, even personally bought Keiko a Halloween costume and helped her put it on. After that, she was practically shoved out of the house, her mother wishing her a good time. Keiko frowned, clutching her coat around her torso, a feather duster in her hand, her feet starting to hurt from being in heels. Not even five minutes in her costume and she wanted out. The more she walked, the more she began to see others on their way to the ball, her firm grip on her coat unrelenting. So far, she didn’t see anybody she recognized, which was probably for the best. She could see the town hall in the distance, the doors open, lights going on inside, Halloween decorations literally everywhere. Now, to say at this point she wasn’t excited about the party, that would be a lie. It looked like fun; there was laughter even by those walking around her, She finally came to the doors leading into the party, the festivities already in full swing. And to her major disappointment, there was a place set aside for coats. She glanced down, her jaw tensed. The person at the door held out a hand for her coat, the people behind her verbally getting antsy. She shrugged off her coat, giving a sigh as she tightened her grip on her feather duster, straightening out her little hat… thing, all the while holding down her skirt. Never before had she ever felt so embarrassed. Keiko could literally feel eyes on her, her own forced to look ahead. A band was on stage, playing, and a moss pit of some sort already in the works. She made a note to avoid that area at all costs. The crowd pushed her further into the busy room, the force of the shoving knocking her feather duster out of her hand. Groaning, she bent down, picking it back up. She really didn’t want to be here, and in the costume she was in. She could have sworn she heard a whistle just then… Keiko tried to find a wall to press up against, away from… people, who were more than touchy-feely due to the atmosphere. She successfully found a place near the food table, not making a move to go over there, not yet. The night was still young, and hopefully she’d be able to bring some leftover candy home with her. There was a small commotion near the door, and from where Keiko was, she could see… a helmet? She couldn’t help but grin. Someone had come dressed as Darth Vader. That’s definitely something Atsushi-kun would wear… She thought to herself, shaking her head. She sighed, wondering what exactly she was doing. She wasn’t really having any fun, she didn’t know anybody there and… there was a cup in her face. Keiko glanced up, finding a… guy in a dog costume holding a cup practically under her nose. He tossed a grin, showing his teeth. ”Hey babe, you looked thirsty under all these lights.” He moved closer, face hovering over her shoulder. Keiko cringed, the smell of alcohol heavy on his breath. It wasn’t possible that he came to this party intoxicated? Or was the punch somehow spiked? She honestly hoped not. She saw some middle schoolers on her way over. She doubted anyone would be pleased if they found out the punch was spiked. She frowned, turning away, “No thank you.” She kept her gaze away from the Dog Guy, once again wishing she were anywhere but there. But it seemed as though Dog Guy was adamant, actually placing an arm around Keiko’s shoulders. ”Ah, come on, I personally got this for you~ Drink it~” Keiko tensed under his arm, half a second away from punching this guy when a voice caught her attention. ”Hey! The lady said no! Back off!”ooc: So, who wants to save Keiko? Someone other than Mizu and Kaneko? Just to get the thread moving?

Post by Takenaka Yuuta on Nov 8, 2010 15:14:20 GMT -5
ooc: Yuuta joining in <3 ----- Yuuta had to admit: He quite liked Halloween. Actually it was a very uncommon festivity for Japan and a few years ago it had been less popular but for some reason though it had become an annual event in Miura over the last years. Some children were even walking from house to house, collecting sweets like they had seen it in those American movies. Yuuta doubted though that they would get a lot since most of his neighbours were pretty old and most likely only watched music channels with Enka or weird gaming shows. Yuuta himself wasn’t very fond of the idea to get sweets from strangers. He wasn’t sure if it was because his parents had been really strict when it came to talking to strangers or because he had a slightly paranoid nature. He actually feared it was the latter. Anyway, he was looking forward to dressing up – most likely just like everyone else. After all Japan was the land of cosplay – and most likely also cross-dressing. Yuuta had taken a while to decide on a costume. His Mom had tried to encourage him to wear a black tux but he guessed that’d be most likely his nightmare. It was futile though trying to explain to her that he was in fact not dating some girl and that this wasn’t exactly a ball like she imagined it and that, yes, he would like to dress up in some weird outfit. Finding said weird outfit was hard though, he found. Just taking a white blanket and cutting holes into it he found quite boring. He also doubted that his Mom would appreciate that in any way. It also wasn’t exactly very creative. Sighing he had sat down on his bed, starring at his belongings, his backpack, his posters of various bands, the One Piece figures on his PlayStation, the… oh wait! Looking back to the plastic dolls slowly a grin was forming on his lips. Oh yes, that was just great! He would go as Luffy, his favourite manga hero! Weirdly enough, he even owned the right clothes for that. If someone would have asked Yuuta why he of all people owned a red west, jeans with cut legs and a straw hat, he most likely would have taken a while to come up with some really good excuse. In fact Yuuta had a cosplayer hidden inside. He refused though to let it out most of the time and he would rather die than going in any outfit like that to Harajuku, but he had worn the outfit in his room a few times. It was really comfy and it was fun, reading the manga balancing the book on his bare knees sticking outta the cut trousers and always having the brim of the straw hat in his sight. This was something Yuuta would never tell anyone though. He changed into his Luffy Outfit and went to the bathroom to mess up his hair a bit. Normally he didn’t use any hair gel, just sometimes to straighten his hair a bit since it was actually a bit curly by nature. And yes, Yuuta could be a bit vain. Ready to go he grabbed his stuff, ignoring his mother’s almost shocked glance and her doubtful question if he was trying to catch himself a cold. Well, it was October after all but Yuuta didn’t mind because this was the most amazing outfit. He’d wear it, even if that meant he would have to freeze himself to death. Plus he was pretty sure it would be quite warm in the town hall. He felt a bit embarrassed walking around like that but after meeting a few mummies and ghosts on his way, he didn’t mind anymore. It was actually quite fun to walk around like that, even though he sometimes had to grab his hat so it wouldn’t fly away. He was really excited for the party and his friends – especially since they had all decided to not tell each other what costumes they would be wearing. He just hoped he would recognize them… Who knew what kinda masks they would maybe wear? He was trying hard to guess what his friends would maybe wear but he had to give up. Everything was possible. When he reached the town hall, scary music was playing from the town speakers and everywhere hung Halloween decoration. Yuuta was impressed. The fake webs and the bats looked really cool and he found the jack-o-lanterns really intriguing. Many people were gathering in little groups in front of the hall, apparently waiting for their friends and families. He scanned all their faces, as far as you could recognize them, but he didn’t see anyone familiar. They had said they would meet inside the town hall but Yuuta always preferred to play on the safe side. He entered the hall, frowning slightly, trying to adjust his eyes to the light and his ears to the loud music. He was looking around, seeing a few people from his class, watching dancing pairs and admiring the decoration which was inside the town hall just as rich as outside. He couldn’t linger very long though to take everything in, since more people kept coming inside and were pushing him forward. He was frowning since he really didn’t like it a lot when strangers came so close to him, but there was nothing he could do against it. He was trying to move with the flow and looking out for his friends. Suddenly a Darth Vader caught his interest. What a cool costume! But it must be really warm under there since, as expected, the hall was really… warm. At least he didn’t mind his short trousers a lot. He noticed a second person next to Darth Vader, wearing a bright red and white striped shirt. I’ve found Waldo… er, Mizusawa, he thought, grinning happily. He was betting his pants on Kaneko being this Darth Vader. Actually he should have known that from the second on he had seen this costume! Trying to get closer to his friends, he suddenly noticed a kinda weird pair near him. It was a guy in a ridiculous looking dog costume who was apparently hitting on a girl in a very… interesting maid costume. Yuuta felt his eyebrows wander up. She kind of seemed to be in distress though and was trying to get away from this weird guy, who was now laying his arm around her shoulders. Now Yuuta recognized her. It was Suzuki Keiko, a girl which he hadn’t talked much to, but he knew that she and Kaneko knew each other. He also knew that he should try and help. He really wasn’t the right guy to help a Damsel in distress he found, but he guessed Luffy would have helped her for sure. And tonight he was Luffy after all. ”Hey! The lady said no! Back off!,“ he said, being a bit surprised by himself. He hadn’t meant to be so vigorous. It seemed to help though since this guy was in fact taking a few steps back. He seemed to be already quite tipsy so Yuuta doubted he would try anything weird like hitting him, but you never knew after all. “Erm she… well, she belongs… to my team… erm friends.” He quickly grabbed Suzuki’s wrist and pulled her with him away from this guy and into the crowd of people. He wasn't very keen on getting into a fight or anything. Suddenly he stopped and let her go, turning towards her and feeling very embarrassed. “Uh, gomen.” He bit his lip, giving her a lopsided smile. “I didn’t mean to well… just drag you around or something… uh…” He was motioning in the vague direction of the buffet were he had seen his friends before. “Mizusawa and Kaneko are over there. Or… are you here with someone else?” He stopped and looked at her quizzically. ---- hope that was okay, Ter!

OOC: Costume + accessory. At that moment, Aisawa and Nohara were not Kaoru's friends. She hated them. They were the worst people in the world. But the thing was, of all the people Kaoru knew, she considered Aisawa and Nohara her best friends. The three had known each other since they all started at Washizu Academy, were in the same class and joined the same extracurricular -- rhythmic gymnatsics. They exchanged fashion tips and shared their honest opinions about boys and brutally honest opinions on other girls. The three had often planned to go to events like this in the past, though Kaoru often wondered if the other two had ever caught on to just how much she hated them. Kaoru knew that she wasn't really upfront with the girls on who she was, so she didn't fault them. But this was... a costume party. Something at the town hall, something based off some Western holiday, something that... just sounded really dumb to Kaoru. If it was a "scary" time of the year, she'd much rather stay at home and watch slasher films she liked rather than waste money to look stupid in a costume she'd only wear once. Yet Uchida Kaoru had her social obligations to fulfill; if it was a popular event, she had to be there. So earlier that week, she went to the city with Aisawa and Nohara and found that weird-looking costume shop and was escorted to the section for young ladies her height. Looking at the outfits before her, Kaoru could only wonder one thing. "Why is everything... so sexy?"Fast forward to that night; she was in the middle of town, not even her overcoat able to completely fend off the cold. She stood outside of the large building, shivering, watching the various costumed citizens of Miura City stroll pass her, all actually looking excited for the event. But there was no Aisawa and no Nohara....Were they really standing her up? Kaoru rubbed her chin. Maybe something urgent came up, and there was an emergency... maybe someone died? Kaoru truly hoped that's what happened. Because she would freaking kill them if the were still alive somewhere. Annoyed, she stared playing with the prop the pair insisted she buy with her outfit. It was a giant plastic medical syringe that was nearly as tall has her. While excessive, the idea of a needle that was that size appealed a bit to Kaoru. It was funny. As embarrassed as she was to be there, dressed up and all by herself... if she took the effort to put all this together, she might as well do what she came to do. The huge prop in tow, she started towards the front doors of the town hall. There was a doorman to take her coat. With a bit of hesitation, Kaoru slipped out of her outerwear. It revealed a sleeveless white dress, white fishnet stockings and knee-high white boots, a stethoscope and facemask even hanging off her neck. The ensemble was adorned with cheesy red crosses. Kaoru reached into her pocket to retrieve a nurse's cap, and placed it on her head to finish the outfit off. She turned around to shoot anyone ogling her a death glance before entering the building. It didn't look nearly as dorky as Kaoru had thought it would be. There were decorations everywhere, drinks and snacks in the corner, and a live band playing for a group of guests happy to dance along. Kaoru definitely felt out of place, but seeing the place as bustling and people enjoying themselves did bring a smile to her face. Until a particular scene caught her eye. She turned to see, amongst the crowd, a boy dressed as the hero from that pirate comic pulling a girl in a rather revealing maid's outfit across the floor. Pirate boy looked to be a little too forceful, and the maid looked to be a little too upset. What was she looking at?It she was the only one to see a crime being committed... wait, there weren't any crimes going on, were there? Pirate boy was saying something to the maid, but Kaoru couldn't hear it. But it didn't matter. The way he was looking at that girl... well, it didn't make her feel very good. And if that girl was half as uncomfortable as her face seemed to express, then she was aching for a way out of the situation... No, Kaoru had to do something about this. She tucked her syringe under her arm and started marching over to the pirate, the click of her heels rapid and strong against the tiled floor. A few guys shot her those kinds of looks, and a few even took a step to stop her, but Kaoru wouldn't have it. She eyed anyone that dared approach her with a gaze she hoped would make them drop dead. “Mizusawa and Kaneko are over there. Or… are you here with someone else?” she heard the pirate say. That was her chance! "She's with me!" She spoke loudly and in a volume just under a shout. It attracted the attention of some nearby snackers. It was attention that Kaoru welcomed. She looked to the girl in the maid suit and flashed an apologetic face. "Sorry I'm late, I got held up! It's a long story..." And with that, Kaoru took the maid under her free arm and started walking away, dragging girl with her. As they moved, she leaned in and started talking to the girl in a whisper. "Did you really come here dressed like that by yourself? Not that it makes what just happened okay, but..." One of the main reasons she hated dressing this way was the attention she got from guys. But in most situations, Kaoru was confident in her ability to avoid confrontations and handle herself -- and anyone who thought they'd mess with her -- just in case she would be stuck in one. It only took one look at the girl to see that that kind of confidence was something she lacked. She finally stopped the two when it felt like the had moved a fair distance from the weird pirate guy. Kaoru scoped out the area to confirm that no immediately sketchy looking individuals were around, then looked to the girl. "Uchida Kaoru," she said, pointing to herself. Kaoru looked about again to see if someone had noticed the pair's strange behavior... but there were simply too many people busy with too many things. Relieved, she put a hand on the girl's shoulder and smiled. "Your name. This is the part where you say your name!" OOC: Sorry for stealing Keiko away so quickly... ^^;; Ter said it was alright...

ooc: tadaa~ !! Chiyo in her Jack Kigurumi over here~Halloween - definitely the best time of the year! Chiyo loved everything about Halloween; the jack-o-lanterns, the costumes, kids running from door to door collecting sweets while saying 'trick or treat', horror movies, Halloween parties with cute decorations... Just everything! Therefore the blonde girl had been looking forward to the party at the Miura City Hall for quite a while. Especially because so many people she knew would be there. She originally had planned to go in one of those huge pumpkin costumes but somehow she thought this could've ended extremely unfavourable, because to Chiyo it looked like she wouldn't even fit through the door if she wore such a pumpkin costume. Sitting down would've been difficult as well and she didn't even know where to get somehing like this. In the end the young girl decided to simply wear a Jack Skellington Kigurumi, because she just loved The Nightmare before Christmas. It was definitely the best movie ever, so Chiyo was pretty sure being dressed up as Jack would make her have the best costume of whole Miura City. This sure was way better than just a boring pumpkin! “You know, you should just go without any make-up. People would be scared to death!“ Chiyo ignored her brother's comment. Jiro, the second eldest brother, loved to tease his younger sister. In fact, all her brothers liked to tease her, but in the course of years she had learned to ignore their comments. Moreover, Chiyo was pretty good at teasing her brothers as well. Apart from that she was in very good spirits because of the upcoming Halloween party. Hopefully she would be able to get to know some cool people. “Want to come with us ?!““Like I'd want to be seen with any of you guys...“, she replied, sticking out her tounge. Actually she didn't really care about being seen with her brothers, she just thought it would be nice to walk to the City Hall to already get a glimpse of some of the people's costumes. She was really curious about what other people would be wearing. Besides, she didn't want to wait any longer for her brothers, who oddly enough seemed to need longer than her. Half an hour later the blonde girl left the house and headed in the direction of the Miura City Hall. Seeing all those disguised people on their way to the City Hall Chiyo got more and more excited. This is gonna be fun for sure!, she thought, smiling over some girls who were disguised as a bunch of witches. Hopefully the girls of the tumbling team would show up in some cool outfits as well. Chiyo giggled quietly, imagining the girls wearing some Godzilla-like costumes. Nah, that won't happen... They'd probably show up as fairies or somehing like that – though fairies weren't that scary, were they? But still, the imagination of their team manager wearing something monsterish was hilarious in Chiyo's opinion. Thinking about it, how did some people get the impression of princess-like outfits being scary ? At least Chiyo remembered some of her classmates being disguised as princesses last Halloween. She'd also seen someone in a Pikachu Kigurumi on her way to the party. Not really scary either, but that was okay since she was sure about having the best and scariest outfit ever! After walking for a while the blonde finally reached the Miura City Hall, rubbing her hands. She somehow had managed to forget bringing a coat along, but this didn't matter anymore. Seeing all those Halloween decorations made her forget the cold immediately. Moreover, it was pretty warm inside of the hall and there was also a band playing. There were already quite a few people inside of the Hall and Chiyo looked around for a while to see if she could recognize someone she knew. The fact that nearly everyone was wearing a costume and many also had tons of make-up in their face didn't really make it easier for the blonde to identify someone of her tumbling team. Maybe they didn't even arrive here yet. “They're gonna show up soon enough“, she muttered, heading over to the buffet to see if they had some cool food, which looked like seperated body parts or poisoned looking drinks.

ooc: Aoi's outfit hereic: " Aoi we are leaving!" "Okay mum!" " Have fun at the party!" "I will. See you later!" Aoi heard the front door being closed and she sighed. She pulled out her Halloween outfit and laid it on her bed. Halloween. Aoi really couldn't wait for it. A few weeks ago she found out about the party at the City Hall and planned since then to go. The only problem she had was to get a proper outfit. She wore a witch costume the previous year and a vampire the year before. This time she wanted something different. No fairy. No princess. And that's how she came up with the wrestler costume. It was awesome. It was different. It was sexy. Even too sexy for her father. But luckily her mother took her side, saying things like that were common nowadays and they wore similar stuff at their time, although Halloween wasn't so popular back then (except in college, where every holiday/festival/celebration was an excuse to make a party). Her parents decided to take a break from work that evening so they could take Aoi's younger brothers around the town to collect candies. So here Aoi was, in her room, changing into her new outift. Once she was done, she hid her phone on the knife pocket wrapped around her leg, grabbed a coat and left the house. "Woah it's so cold!" Aoi felt glad to have picked a long coat that would be able to cover her legs. While on her way to the City Hall, Aoi met ghosts, vampires, Freddy Kruger, elves and much more. As soon as she reached the place, she noticed all the decorations outside. Music was so loud she could hear that even if she wasn't inside the building yet. Aoi actually had to wait in line for a bit: apparently half of the town decided to come at the party and have fun. When she finally reached the door, a person was there to grab her coat and Aoi blushed a bit when she noticed the looks of other people, especially boys, on her. She was not so gently pushed into the hall by other people who wanted to get in and she growled a bit before moving forward. Aoi looked around: the hall was completely crowded. And the music was so catchy! Aoi was about to jump in and lost herself into the dance when she noticed a girl with blonde hair in a Jack Kigurumi costume. For some reasons, Aoi immediately knew who was wearing it. She slowly walked to reach this person who was standing near the food table and when she was right behind her, Aoi jumped and wrapped her arms around her team mate's. "Hello Chiyo-kun!" Aoi said out loud. She moved to stand in front of her friend. "I like your costume! So... having fun?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ooc: I don't like this post at all, sorry so much for the fail

[OOC: *laughs* Ryosuke's Costume I left it open, Lee, Ter, so if you guys wanna call him over! Ryosuke was wondering just where the heck Nippori was. The two were supposed to have come to the town's Halloween party together dressed as Mario and Luigi, but at the moment, Ryosuke was here on his own, dressed as Luigi and feeling a little dumb. He'd spent the last 30 minutes just chilling with a bunch of older people from Miura City that he didn't actually know, many of whom had assumed he was far older than he actually was, and some of whom had actually succeeded in getting him to drink a few glasses of the alcoholic beverages provided at the party. Despite being a Yankee, he'd typically been the type to smoke over drink, though he hadn't turned the elders down on their offers until one woman--he swore she had to be at least 80, though she was adamantly insisting to him that she was just 50--chugged down half a glass of something and then gestured he finish it for her. "Can't.....plunge toilets correctly if I don't have my wits about me," he'd simply responded, tapping his nose to signify that no, he wouldn't be having anymore to drink, even if successfully plunging toilets while under the influence or not probably made very little difference. As he'd made his way through the crowd, looking for his "plunger-wielding brother", he felt like something of an idiot. The place was packed with people he both knew and didn't know, though many were adults he saw around, not anyone of his age. But being in this costume and not around any of his friends....he felt kind of foolish. He'd gotten to the party perhaps too early. It dawned on him that maybe he ought to have planned out a time and place to meet beforehand with Nippori, rather than just intending on showing up and meeting there. In fact, now that he thought about it.....Ryosuke put the plunger down and pushed a gloved hand into one of his overall pockets and began fishing for his prized cell phone. And that was when he noticed her. Her. Kaoru. The girl he'd spent nearly the majority of the school year heartbreaking over. And as if having to see her here, while he was dressed like this, was not punishment enough, something else came to his attention. She was with another girl. Another girl Ryosuke had come to know quite well, a girl who'd devoted an entire afternoon just to listen to him whine and console him about his problems involving the girl right beside her. Ryosuke actually had to take a moment to try to clear his head, he was so stunned. Maybe the worst part wasn't even that the two of them were together, that the girl he'd told about the girl he'd felt he was almost dying over happened to be standing right beside her. Maybe it wasn't that the two of them appeared to know each other well.... (After all, he had never told Keiko-chan Kaoru's name, just said there was a girl who was breaking his heart.....) No, he didn't think even those things were the worst of it. It was.....the costumes. The..... what the hell were they wearing!?Ryosuke did a double blink. Okay, he didn't want to be gross and oggle them, but he just didn't....why would......was it even socially acceptable for girls their ages to wear things like that?? If he was looking, he was willing to bet half the other guys in the room would be too, and that would include all kinds of skeevos and the like. It wasn't that Ryosuke thought the girls didn't look good--they looked frigging amazing--but...but that was the thing. Why did they have to look frigging amazing? Especially Kaoru....and right when he'd thought he was finally getting over her too. Avoid them. Ryosuke had officially decided it. The party place was large enough that he imagined he could slip back into the crowd without the two girls noticing. It wasn't that he didn't want to see or talk to either of them. Just....too many things were at stake. He couldn't trust himself to talk to Keiko with Kaoru around--he was sure he would give something away. And nor was he sure he could even bring himself to approach Kaoru. There were a lot of reasons for that, one being the costumes both of them were wearing, in addition to all the other qualms he had about her already, and.... Yeah, avoiding them was best. Avoiding them and that....that giant needle thing Kaoru seemed all too enthusiastic to be carrying. What had he been doing again? Oh yeah, calling Nippori.... Ryosuke ducked into the crowd, hoping he was out of sight of the girls he knew all too well, tapping away a message to Nippori on his phone. With any luck, his friend would get here soon, or be here already, and then--at least--he would have someone else to hang around with. "So embarrassing....." Ryosuke wondered if he felt so warm because the place was so crowded and hot, or because his costume was so heavy, or because he was....No, he wasn't blushing. He didn't blush--he was a Yankee for crap's sake! Nippori, waiting 4 u @ party! Near food table--c u in a bit?He hit send. And that's when he heard his name being called. Ryosuke spun around.

She was saved by a Luffy. She didn’t know if it was a blessing or a curse, but suddenly she was pulled away from the Dog Guy, “Erm she… well, she belongs… to my team… erm friends.” Keiko frowned at that, the way he phrased it was like she was someone’s property.
Luffy dragged her away, successfully managing to put some distance between them and the Dog Guy. It was then that Luffy let go of her wrist, “Uh, gomen.” He bit his lip, giving her a lopsided smile. “I didn’t mean to well… just drag you around or something… uh…” He was motioning in the vague direction of the buffet were he had seen his friends before. “Mizusawa and Kaneko are over there. Or… are you here with someone else?”
She opened her mouth, ready to tell this guy that, no, she wasn’t, but that didn’t mean he was allowed to just drag her around the party like she was his property when another voice was heard over the noise, "She's with me!" Keiko looked in the direction where the shout came from, finding herself looking at… a sexy nurse with a… really big syringe prop. She really wouldn’t mind taking the accessory and using it to get away from all these perverts. The nurse turned to her, looking sorry for some reason. "Sorry I'm late, I got held up! It's a long story..."
Once again, Keiko found herself being dragged around the town hall, only this time by the sexy nurse, almost missing her whisper as they walked, "Did you really come here dressed like that by yourself? Not that it makes what just happened okay, but..."
She felt her face burn, she didn’t plan on coming to the party alone. It just… happened that way. It was possible that she could run into someone she knew, for all she knew, it really was Atsushi in the Darth Vader costume, hell, it probably was. Maybe she should go over there and say hi, the two hadn’t spoken in a while.
They walked a fair distance away when the sexy nurse stopped, looked around for… who knows what, before turning back to Keiko, pointing at herself, "Uchida Kaoru." She waited a second before looking around again, before placing a hand on Keiko’s shoulder. "Your name. This is the part where you say your name!"
“Oh.” Keiko glanced down, still feeling awkward now that she realized that they were both in… pretty revealing outfits. “I’m Suzuki Keiko. Uh… thanks for back there. I uh… probably should have come with someone uh… Coming here alone really does sounds stupid…” She reached up to rub her cheek, if only to push the blush down, looking in the distance, there were a lot of people in lots of different costumes, some girls were even sexier outfits than her and Kaoru. In fact, she could see one girl in a very revealing wrestler outf—Wasn’t that the manager for the girls’ rhythmic gymnastics team? Keiko looked down at her own outfit, sure, it was… sexy, but the other girl’s, it was so… exposed.
She didn’t know how her parents let her out of the house in that outfit.
Her gaze traveled back to the nurse in front of her, “Uh, Uchida-san, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you around before. Do you go to Karasumori High or…?”
That was when she saw him.
He stood out amongst the sexy, silly and outright crazy costumes, his blond hair stick out under his bright green hat, his shirt the exact same color, and… overalls? She blinked as he turned in their direction, a large fake mustache covering his top lip. It was Ryosuke, decked out in a Luigi costume. He looked completely out place without his Mario counterpart, and he appeared as though he hadn’t seen her yet. It seemed like it was just yesterday when she stumbled upon the blonde Yankee on the beach, where he poured out his feelings to her, and she just calmly listened, even when night had fallen and after that day, insisted on keeping in touch. She had been hesitant at first, but as time went by, she realized that Ryosuke was one of those guys who, when he had true friends, kept them close and protected them no matter what.
Before she realized what she was doing, her hand holding her feather duster was in the air, waving around to catch his attention.
“Ryosuke-kun!”
She moved around Kaoru, her arm still waving above her head, “Ryosuke-kun! I didn’t realize you were going to be here!” She turned back to Kaoru, her arm now down, a small smile on her face, “Thanks for helping me out earlier. There’s someone nearby I know, so, I won’t be alone anymore. Again,” Keiko bowed, her small cap falling forward. She lifted her hand, slipping it back into place, “thank you for earlier.”

ooc: this is Naoki's outfit "I could really need a helping hand"; repeated Naoki's father to his son; "I don't care ... As if I'd work when everybody's out having fun ... It's Halloween today, you know what this means, old man?! The best time of the year, unless you I'm young and won't work every *** day"; said Naoki, who was sitting at a table in his father's sushi restaurant while eating a cup of Ramen, reading a new issue of One Piece. "At least don't be home too late"; "We'll see ... Maybe I'm gonna stay out the whole night"; said the young Japanese boy just to make his father angry. "Can't you at least try to be nicer to your old man?!"; "'Could, but don't wanna"; said Naoki before he took a look at his mobile phone dispay; "Already this late?! ... Oh, I'd better hurry ... See ya"; with this words he stood up and went the stairs to the flat up ... Naoki wasn't quite sure which outfit he should wear on Halloween, since he loved animes & mangas he wanted to wear a cosplay, but it should also be a Halloween outfit, so no superhero but something like a demon or some supervillain. So he thought about the Undertaker of Kuroshitsuji and Cheshire from Pandora Hearts or even Final Fantasy's Sepiroth, but in the end while he was online and searched for a costume he found a site which sold a Ryuk cosplay and while his mom had given him a nice sum of pocket money he didn't think twice and just ordered it ... "Oh boy, this one'll stand out"; he said laughing while taking a look at the costume which lay on his bed. "Tight ... Itching"; he complained while taking his costume on; "Woah, this shoes are really heavy"; maybe he should've tried to walk in his boots before, because after walking a few steps he was really scared to fall. His costume should look as real as possible so after he had his clothes on he did something which he'd just do once a year and put some Make Up on. After the Make Up he made his hair while using a lot of hairspray and finally he put his mask on; "Woah ... So cool"; he said, grinning under the mask and very satisfied after taking a look in the mirror. Finally he left the house, before doing so he said goodbye to his kitty and ignored his dad who wondered since when his son became a queer monster ... "Yo, 'z up?!"; he greeded some of his friends which he met in a park nearby the hall. "Who are you?!"; without seeing Naoki's face they weren't quite sure who talked to him; "Haha, guess who"; after all his voice didn't change so it had to be him; "Haha, Naoki, you serious?!"; one of them laughed, mustering the costume of his friend. "Yeah, dead serious"; the boy in the Shinigami costume answered laughing; "Cool, isn't it?!"; he grinned under his mask. "Haha, at least it's outstanding"; one of them said, well, compared to their costumes, a pirate, a vampire and a scarecrow it was. "You brought something?!"; "Sure"; said Naoki and let the boys take a look in his bag, everyone of them brought some bottles of alcohol with them which they wanted to drink before entering the party, so before they went to town hall they drank some of the stuff which they've brought with them ... A while later they entered town hall and since Naoki seemed to be interested in the Halloween decoration and the band which was playing on stage his friends just wanted to look at all the hot girls. "That sucks, it has nothing to do with Halloween"; said Naoki after a girl in high heels and mini skirt passed them by, though his friends liked what they had seen Naoki was wondering if he was the only one of them who hadn't come to the party to pick up some girls. "You see the hot ones out there?!"; "Sure"; "Let's try talk to them, I'm sure they're staring at us, let's go"; "Do what you wanna do, but do it without me"; he said on his way to the buffet. He didn't care if his friends tried to pick up some girls, but he wouldn't join them, he couldn't stand all this giggling silly things ...

ooc: Naoki, if no one replies to you next, I'll tag you with me, Kaneko, and Yuuta, okay? Now he heard it. The Imperial March from Star Wars. Which seemed to strangely be following Darth Vader around. Yes, because it was Darth Vader who had made contact with his hand only a moment ago. Darth Vader with a distinctly familiar boyish laugh. "Sorry, did I really scared you?"Mizusawa smiled upon recognizing the voice. Kaneko. He wasn't surprised at his classmate's costume choice. Kaneko was such a big Star Wars fan. And he actually looked pretty cool in the costume, compared to Mizusawa's really simple and lousy one. "Haha, you got me! That's a great costume, Kaneko!" Mizusawa laughed, admiring the other boy's costume before turning back to the food table now to grab the things he had been going for a moment before. He smiled. "Oh, and you found me too. I must be a pretty sucky Waldo." Even if he felt kinda stupid in his costume, he was having a pretty good time now. He was a little relieved that a friend of his had found him so easily. Maybe this costume wasn't as bad as he thought. At least he'd be able to find his friends right away. Or rather, they would find him. "So, did you just get here?" Mizusawa asked the other boy casually, picking up a few chocolate chip cookies coated with a dust of orange and black sugar and putting them on his plate. It was already starting to get pretty full of treats. Maybe he should back off for a bit. Maybe just a little more of the gelato, he thought, reaching out for the ice cream scoop once more. He grinned at Kaneko. "I guess we'll have quite a bit of weight to lose once we get back to team practices, huh? But I'm really hungry from looking at all this food! Maybe we can--" He paused, because at that moment he had spotted a brightly-colored costume somewhere just behind Kaneko. The straw hat, the red-checked jacket, the jean shorts and flip-flops. A...Luffy? Mizusawa knew there were lots of One Piece fans in Miura City, but something gave him the feeling that that was... "Ne, Yuuta!" He called over the party music and over Kaneko's Imperial March, waving his free arm the other boy's attention. He smiled. "Over here!"

Post by Takenaka Yuuta on Nov 15, 2010 14:10:31 GMT -5
Yuuta hadn’t expected Suzuki-chan to leap on him or something. Really, he hadn’t done this to be the great hero in the end but to rescue her from a weird guy. He thought she would at least appreciate that he came to her aid and would bring her to Kaneko since those two seem to get on quite well. He really had the best intentions – even though this had been one of the few times his temper had been showing.
Instead Suzuki didn’t look very thankful and was just about to open up her mouth – when suddenly another female voice was heard, clearly stating "She's with me!"
When Yuuta was looking around for the owner of this voice, he first eyed a gigantic needle – and flinched. He hated needles just like he hated everything related to Doctors. They were just really scary. Holding up said needle was a girl in a quite… interesting outfit. She was dressed up as a nurse. A sexy nurse. Yuuta couldn’t understand how anyone could find a woman working in a hospital sexy in any way – no matter how short their skirts were. He guessed he just was too scared of Doctors and everything that belonged to them to appreciate the costume and the sight in any way.
He didn’t remember seeing this girl at his school before but he also couldn’t deny it. Yuuta wasn’t exactly the perfect person to spot new girls at his school. Most likely Ryosuke could have told him that (and some other information, Yuuta didn’t even want to think about).
This strange girl was giving him not so friendly glances and Yuuta had the stupid feeling that now he was the pervert. Thinking about it, it sure must have looked weird how he had dragged Suzuki behind him through the hall but still, being accused to be… such a kind of guy left Yuuta shocked. He made some strangled noise no one really heard since the music was really loud in here and the strange girl was dragging Suzuki-chan behind her already.
Yuuta stared at them, his shoulders sagging, slightly gaping. What had just happened? Was this really happening? Was he just accused being a… perv?
Takenaka Yuuta, not only Captain of the Tumbling team but also a perv! He could clearly see the headline of the school newspaper in front of his inner eyes. He shook his head and tried to breathe deeply.
Okay Yuuta, stop being hysteric!, he thought and tried to relax. This had been a really stupid and weird misunderstanding. He would just tell his friends, and especially Kaneko, about it so Kaneko could maybe clear everything up for Yuuta again. He just would have to try and not show how much it actually bothered him being accused for a…
"Ne, Yuuta!" An all too familiar voice could be heard above all the noise around him and Yuuta turned around. "Over here!" He could see Mizusawa standing near the buffet, waving at him with one arm. Next to him was Darth Vader, which would be no other than Kaneko Yuuta supposed. He smiled easily back at his friends and raised his hand as well before he was making his way through the crowd.
“Hi guys!,” he greeted them when he had arrived them. Casting a glance above the buffet he decided that he should really try some of the presented snacks. They looked all quite scary but also very delicious at the same time. Looking back at his friends he examined their outfits. “You look really cool, you two! – And is this the Imperial March I am hearing there?” He laughed at the amazing idea his friend had. Now this was a creative addition to such a cool outfit!
Glancing back at the crowd before getting a plate and concentrating on the buffet, he decided to tell his friends about his weird encounter. “Ah, Kaneko, I’ve met Suzuki-chan. Some weird guy was trying to hit on her and I was trying to help… but apparently I wasn’t exactly… clear with that. At least I’ve dragged her away from this guy since he was drunk and I really didn’t feel like getting hit or something… and then some girl with a huuuuge needle turned up, grabbing Suzuki-chan instead and stating she would be with her… As if I am the pervert… This… really wasn’t the best way to start this evening...,” he stated, giving his friends a lopsided smile while he was shoveling some kind of noodle salad onto his plate.

"Haha, you got me! That's a great costume, Kaneko!" Mizusawa laughed, admiring the other boy's costume before turning back to the food table now to grab the things he had been going for a moment before. He smiled."Oh, and you found me too. I must be a pretty sucky Waldo."
Kaneko laughed. "Nah, it's okay! Your costume is nice and quite different from..." - Kaneko looked around the room: vampires, ghosts, fairies and such were filling the place - "...what you can find here".
"So, did you just get here?" Mizusawa asked the other boy casually. Kaneko nodded.
"Yeah.. it actually took me a while to get all these stuff on..." he said, flailing his hands around to show his outfit. "I guess we'll have quite a bit of weight to lose once we get back to team practices, huh? But I'm really hungry from looking at all this food! Maybe we can--"
Kaneko was nodding again: he was sure he was going to practice way harder during the next few days. And he also imagined his older brother Jun making fun of him, as always. But he could always pay him back by stealing his movie collection when Jun was at college. He was still musing about how childish they could both be, when he noticed Mizusawa waving at someone.
Kaneko turned around to see his captain in a .... was that a Luffy costume? "Ne, Yuuta! Over here!" Kaneko saw Yuuta smiling while walking towards them.
“Hi guys! You look really cool, you two! – And is this the Imperial March I am hearing there?” He laughed at the amazing idea his friend had. Kaneko laughed.
"Yes, it is! I thought it was necessary! Besides, I can't be Darth Vader without the Imperial March!" And that's when a thought crossed his mind. "I'd also need a laser sword..." he muttered.
“Ah, Kaneko, I’ve met Suzuki-chan. Some weird guy was trying to hit on her and I was trying to help… but apparently I wasn’t exactly…clear with that. At least I’ve dragged her away from this guy since he was drunk and I really didn’t feel like getting hit or something… and then some girl with a huuuuge needle turned up, grabbing Suzuki-chan instead and stating she would be with her… As if I am the pervert…This… really wasn’t the best way to start this evening...” Yuuta said.
Keiko was there? Kaneko frowned when he heard what his friend said. He was happy Yuuta actually saved her from getting hit by some drunk a**hole, but he wasn't sure what to feel now that he knew she was with a girl with a 'huge needle'.
"Thanks for telling me. Excuse me guys, I'll try to look for her" With that he turned around and started walking towards the direction he thought Yuuta came from.
But the hall was so crowded... And Kaneko had no idea what costume Keiko was wearing: if she had on a mask that covered her face, he'd never find her.
"This is going to be hard..." he muttered, making himself a way through the dance floor.

Kaoru narrowed her eyes at the girl. She was taking her sweet time speaking.
“Oh.” The girl's gaze fell to her feet; she was obviously embarrassed. “I’m Suzuki Keiko. Uh… thanks for back there. I uh… probably should have come with someone uh… Coming here alone really does sounds stupid…”
"Understandable; things happen. I was supposed to come with people today, too..." Kaoru rolled her eyes. She'd kill those two, Aisawa and Nohara.
Before considering the ways she'd torture her friends before their inevitable deaths, Kaoru's eyes fell on Suzuki's face -- the girl was staring at something in the distance. She followed Suzuki's gaze to see a girl in a far skimpier outfit than either of them. Dressed in some type of hood and thigh-high boots... Kaoru knew she was pushing it in her costume; she couldn't imagine what kind of person would step out of their house dressed like that. But she was working it! "Ooh-la-la," she whispered, before turning her attention back to the girl beside her.
That girl... Suzuki! Suzuki was a common enough name. It should be easy to remember. Suzuki, Suzuki, Suzuki...
Her gaze traveled back to the nurse in front of her, “Uh, Uchida-san, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you around before. Do you go to Karasumori High or…?”
A Karasumori kid, huh. Well, it was a big school, and this was a city-wide function... she was bound to run into a few of those.
Kaoru nodded, and was about to mention her own school and such things when suddenly, the girl was shouting and waving around her prop feather duster. “Ryosuke-kun!”
Again, Kaoru started searching the crowd for the person that caught Suzuki's attention. Finally, her eyes lay on a rather tall guy dressed like Luigi from the Mario Brothers. Ah, that's good, she thought. If this girl knew someone, particularly a guy, maybe she wouldn't have to worry so much about her being preyed on by the jerks that would be lurking for the rest of the evening.
She looked to Luigi, who was presumably looking in the direction of his friend, the maid. Compared to some of the freaky, provocative, and just sick costumes she'd seen so far that evening, "Ryosuke-kun" was dressed in something relatively low-key and innocuous. That was a good thing; this guy looked like down-to-earth. Right down to the blonde hair that poked from under his hat.
Kaoru squinted, turning her head towards the Mario Brother. Blonde hair?
Wait.
Uchida Kaoru forgot names all the time, but she never forgot faces. Upon a second look, she realized it. Even behind that goofy fake mustache and under that goofy green hat, she could recognize that goofy face. The one that annoyed her just by looking at it. And then there was that stupid hair...
"You've got to be kidding me. You've got to be kidding me," she muttered. Suzuki's friend, was... freaking hair boy?
Come to think about it, the name "Ryosuke" did sound familiar. Hadn't he actually mentioned his name that day back in the Washizu office? That day he admitted he'd come to deface her brother team's property? Or maybe he'd said it that day at the hobby shop, when he'd seemed to intent on harassing her...
Suzuki continued to call out before turning her attention to Kaoru and bowing. “Thanks for helping me out earlier. There’s someone nearby I know, so, I won’t be alone anymore. Again, thank you for earlier.”
But Kaoru only stared at the maid, not able to pay attention to her apology for looking at her outfit. This was... no good. Why are you a fetish?! She blinked a few times and then frowned, looking down and seeing her own short dress and fishnet stockings and...
She slapped a hand over her face. Why am I a fetish?
Two girls dressed as fetishes when creepy stalker delinquent guy was right freaking there!
Okay, well, it would be alright. Kaoru turned towards "Luigi", and gripped her syringe in both hands. It might not be a real needle but she could work with it if need be.
She could take on half of the Super Yankee Bros., easy. Just let him try something.

Chiyo looked around for quite a while, hoping anyone from the female tumbling team would show up pretty soon, or at least someone she knew. Not because she was bored, just for the simple reason that she thought it looked uncool standing around all alone. People would think she had no friends. At least her brothers would think she had no friends – in case they would show up some time soon. Furthermore, there sure were some perverts under all those masked people! But then again she didn't have anything to fear since she didn't belong to those girls wearing a really sexy outfit.
The young girl chuckled when she saw some of the costumes. People really did their best to show up in amazing outfits and some of these outfits just cracked her up. Someone not too far away from her showed up in an Darth Vader costume which in Chiyo's opinion was the best costume she had seen so far, because it made her laugh more than any of the other outfits.
Nonetheless she didn't like the fact that she wasn't able to see the person's face who was wearing the Darth Vader costume. The same applied for some guy in a Ryuk costume. The costume looked pretty cool, but not being able to see who was actually wearing the costume was kind of creepy.
“Let's see what we have here~“, she muttered, turning her face towards the buffet.
Chiyo was in the act of grabbing something from the buffet when she felt another person wrapping his or her arms around her. Fortunately the blonde didn't take anything from the food table yet, because she most likely would have dropped her plate or glass or whatever. She didn't expect someone to attack her like that – wrapping your arms around someone without warning sure was an attack! - so she hoped it wasn't some of those perverted guys she thought of just a minute ago, but then she heard a familiar voice greeting her. "Hello Chiyo-kun!" Chiyo sighed with relief when Aoi stood in front of her.
“Hey Aoi!“, she greeted the other girl and observed her costume. Aoi sure looked sexy! She should be the one to beware of old perverts attacking her, not Chiyo. “Wow, so you just decided to come naked, huh ?!“, she chukckled slightly. “You look awesome, really! Did you come here by yourself ?!“ Girls really shouldn't walk through the city barely wearing clothes. Especially not in the evening, when it was dark outside.
"I like your costume! So... having fun?" Chiyo smiled at her friend. “Well, but mine is nothing compared to yours!“, she replied. “I wouldn't really call it having fun, since I just arrived a few minutes ago...“ Somehow Chiyo had felt like she arrived a little to early at the City Hall, but now that Aoi was here and she wasn't alone anymore she was pretty sure they would have fun.
“Guess who's gonna gain some weight today~“, she said laughing, taking a closer look at the buffet again and finally deciding to start with some chocolate bats. Chiyo would pretty sure end eating only sweets on the party. She didn't belong to those girls who payed scrupulous attention to their weight all time. “Want some ?!“, the blonde asked, offering some jelly brains to the team manager.
“Wanna take a look around or wait here for the others to show up ?!“ It didn't really matter to Chiyo whether they stayed at the buffet or ran through the Hall, either way was okay.
