Born in a poor family, she is never ashamed of her background and never try to hide it. She has an air that says “I’m poor but I have dignity.” She won’t get mad if someone makes fun of her for being poor. She prefers to get back at them by showing her achievements. But she will get mad if someone makes fun of her father.
Akira doesn’t have the most beautiful face in school, but she has a charisma. She is always confident in everything she does. She is a born leader, dependable and easy to trust. She never had a romantic relationship and believes she doesn’t need one.
She is generally nice to people. But she can be scary when she gets mad.
She got the brain and the aptitude. Getting straight-As doesn’t take much effort for her. Thanks to that she got a scholarship from school.
Akira is the head of the school broadcasting club.The club does radio shows at lunch time and special video shows once a week. To keep her family survives, Akira works as a tutor for junior and senior high school students. Being poor makes her unable to have the things she wants. But it’s not the thing that bothers her. It is the fact that her father doesn’t work hard enough. Her father works as an employee with salary that barely covers the family expenses. He has the skills to build his own business but he never try it. “I’ll never be success”, he said, giving up before even trying. Akira is dissappointed with him. She believes “Be an employer, not an employee.”
Despite her dissappointment to her father, she loves him very much. Before going to bed, they always spent some time to talk and laugh about their days.
Akira’s mother passed away when she was two years old. Akira still misses her from time to time but never cry over her again since the time she died. She barely remembers her mother and knows little about her, but she believes that her mother will be happy if she keeps moving forward.
From the time Akira’s mother died until she was six years old, her aunt helped her family to take care of the house. After that, her aunt got married and was busy taking care her own family. Since then Akira had to take care of the house. Sometimes her aunt still cooked some food for them. By the time Akira was twelve, she cooked their own meal.
At elementary school, Akira spent her free time playing with her friends. In the afternoon they went to play in a field or went for a stroll around the neighborhood. She get along with all her friends, but she had five best friends. Now they live apart , but still keep contact with each other.
At junior high school, Akira was the head of the class for three years and an active member in the science club. She had four best friends, one of them also goes to goes to Washizu High School. Like her elementary besti friends, she still keeps in touch with her junior high school best friends.other
