This site functions much like any other RPG site. However, because of the Tumbling competitions, things are just a little different!
What is Tumbling?
First of all, for those who do not know what tumbling is, I would recommend you read this. You do not have to create a tumbling character--in fact, you can easily play a regular, everyday person! But for those who are interested in competing in the Tumbling competitions, you will have to know a bit more about the sport!
Forming or Joining your own Tumbling Team
The main tumbling teams on the site are currently the following:
You are welcome to join any of these teams, with the permission of the team captains and advisors. However, you are also welcome to start your own tumbling team in Japan too! In order to do this, please PM me with your interests. After we've discussed your team name and other valuable information, we can set up "Wanted Ad" for your team in the Character Extra boards, and later establish a headquarters for your team!
Foreign Tumbling Teams
If you would like to form a foreign tumbling team (i.e. one from the USA or one from Britain, etc), you are certainly welcome to do so! Please feel free to talk with other members to discuss forming another tumbling team, and then let me know if you would like to have your team entered into the competitions. Again, as listed above, please PM me with your thoughts!
How to Compete
Tumbling Competitions will be held regularly, first at the local level and gradually growing to the international level. Though all team mates will discuss together (at the team headquarters board) how to plan their routine, ultimately the Team Captains and Team Advisors will decide the final routine)! The winning team at each level will receive a trophy of recognition!
In order to win a tumbling competition, each team must choose a video of a tumbling routine on a streaming site. This video will represent the routine your team is competing with. All members of the team will still roleplay the actual routine happening, but the video will be used to determine the overall winner of each competition.
Starting or Joining a Gang
Gangs are welcome on this site, since there are many yankees at Karasumori High. If you are planning to join a gang that has already been formed, please ask the gang's leader for permission to join first! You may also create a Yakuza gang! Please PM me with your ideas, and we can later set up a "Wanted Ad" when you are looking for more members, as well as establish a headquarters for your gang.
Please understand that if you are joining a pre-formed gang, the gang leader has every in-character right to kick your character out (provided this is not due to some problems out of character).
Being a Regular Citizen
Regular citizens are both welcomed and highly encouraged! We need lots more people like this on this site! As a regular citizen, please do not hesitate to PM me about any boards you would like to see created (such as a specific shop), or if you would like a job for your character (as a librarian, a shop clerk, a teacher, etc). We love these kinds of people!
