If there was one thing anyone would describe Yuta as, it would be stubborn. Even when he was told that the male tumbling team in Karasumori High School had no future, he persevered on with what little resources he had on hand with the few members the team had along with him.
Yuta cares for his team members well enough but can easily miss out things especially if he gets too agitated or when he is too concentrated on making the tumbling team work. At one glance, people would not be able to tell that he is the captain of the team but he carries his responsibilities well and keeps the team together. He is emotional and sensitive but he tries to keep it to himself so as to not let others worry. Oh and he tends to act serious even though he's really playful in real life.
He doesn't think about girls much and tries to avoid trouble whenever possible(namely Wataru initially). One would do well to not insult tumbling in front of him or there can be hell. And this is a secret so don't tell anyone but he is somewhat a narcissist who really likes to take self photos with his precious camera. :X
History:
It all started when Yuta accidentally stumbled upon a male rhythmic gymnastics rehearsing for their competition at an indoor stadium.
Yuta comes from a normal family. A father who works as a businessman and a mother who is a housewife. Being a single child, Yuta is fairly spoiled by his parents and they are accepting of whatever he does.
Sadly, in middle school, Yuta was not really outstanding. He was pretty much average in both grades and in performing rhythmic gymnastics. He was disciplined definitely but couldn't bring himself further to make his point and only ended up flailing when it came to his turn. In the end, his childhood best friend cum rival, Tsurumi made it to Washizu High School which was known for their male tumbling team thus leaving him behind.
Although Yuta was disappointed, he moved on to Karasumori High School where he proceeded to create an all new male tumbling team hoping to start anew.
