Moving the Site?

So as you guys probably know, we were talking in the C-box about moving the site to Invisionfree!

I know maybe a move seems unnecessary, but for me Invisionfree seems much easier to work with than Proboards. Even though I'm newer to it, the Admin controls are much easier to work with!

In addition, I think the layouts in general on Invisionfree are much nicer for regular members, and there's also something very comfortable about it! There are also additional things on there that Proboards doesn't have~

About what you mentioned, CJ, I think it's possible for me to transfer all posts over? And if not, then I wouldn't close this site until all posts have been moved over. We can take our time doing that of course, no need to rush! I did intend to close this site, but if you want me to keep it open for memories, then it's really no problem! I think it's possible to leave it closed for members only!

Anyway, please let me know what you guys think! Since the majority seem to think it's a good idea, if one more person agrees they like the idea to move, then we'll make it official! I want to hear your thoughts though too!

i'm okay with moving the site, especially when invisionfree's easier to work with for you! (i shomehow get the impression that proboards is rather complicated 'cuz i you're not the first person i know who want to move from proboards to some other site^^)

And Chiyo!!!!! >< Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I forgot to ask you! Thank you for replying anyway! m(_ _)m I get the feeling the reason I forgot is because Chiyo and Chiba sound so similar, that I completely didn't think about it...So sorry about that.

Also, about the list...I'm not sure about Boe, but Gok has already said she has to leave because of things going on in her outside life. Let me see what Boe says--I'll check with her, and if she's still hoping to hang around the site!

I've already said so in the cbox, but I love this idea. Making a new site would be a fresh start for all of us, which is a good thing, I've found. Recently, another site I'm on moved as well and it really got us going again, and the fresh start rebooted our muses. So I think this will be good for us.

And, yeah. I'd like to have this site be members only, and not for it to be closed/deleted or something. Just to keep it as some sort of archive of funny moments, and good times (;

But, yeah, if you can't transfer posts over Alex, then we can just do it ourselves, and just repost whatever threads we want to continue doing. Like, for example, I'd like for us to finish the hospital thread, if the rest of you guys that are in it agree, and Nippori and Chiyo's thread (since me and sasu have barely started it), and also Mari and Hinako's thread, too.

So...once the new site is made, maybe we could just make an official list of threads to be moved over? (:

Yeah, that's what I meant. The prospect of moving to a new site and having somewhat of a fresh start is refreshing and kinda livens everyone up.

Also, I meant to add this before, but Alex, if you need any help at all with the new site - like the skin, coding, anything at all - let me know. I've skinned quite a few invisionfree sites and I'm a co-admin on one right now, myself (along with like, 7 other people...so I don't have to do much lol).
