“Chii!“Chiyo breathed a sigh when she heard her older brother's voice.
Just a few more minutes, she thought, hiding her head under her Nightmare Before Christmas pillow. The young girl hadn't really been able to sleep this night and two hours were definitely not enough for her to happily jump around before going to school. In fact, two hours weren't even enough for Chiyo to open her eyes.
Furthermore, she has had this super strange dream. The blonde couldn't really remember what it was about, just that it was a really weird and confusing dream about Ryuu.
“Chii!!“, she heard her brother's voice again.
“You're gonna be late for school!““Annoying“, she mumbled in a voice which definitely wasn't hers.
She opened her eyes when she noticed her strangely deep voice. This didn't sound like she caught a simple cold. Normally the blonde's voice didn't change too much. Even when she was hoarse her voice kept being relatively high-pitched.
Whatever ... A cold sure wouldn't kill her!
Yawning the young girl finally stood up and walked towards her wardrobe. Her eyes widened when she looked at herself in the mirror. Well, what she saw wasn't exactly herself!
“What kind of joke is
this ?!“, she asked, staring at the mirror where she definitely didn't see herself but Ryuu.
She raised her right arm, then the left one. Unfortunately her reflection did the same, which somehow meant that what she saw in the mirror had to be herself -- herself in Ryuu's body.
The blonde looked down her new body when she heard her brother's voice again.
“Chii, we'll be leaving now! Don't forget to wake up the twins before you go!“Yeah. Great idea. Her little borther's sure would be happy to see a stranger standing in their bedrom, wishing them a good morning and stuff.
Why did it have to be today that their classes started later ?! She couldn't wake them up like this!
Well … Guess I'm not the only one who's gonna be late ... There was no way she would wake them up in Ryuu's body and at the moment she couldn't care less about her little brothers coming late for classes. She had to find her body, though this sounded more than weird.
Chiyo sat down on the floor for a moment, while she looked into the morrir again. “This can't be true ...“ Not only that this was definitely the wrong body, Ryuu – well, Chiyo in Ryuu's body – looked extremely funny just wearing black shorts and a pink tank top which was way too short. But this was no moment for laughing!
She looked down her new body again. “Hello new body“, she said. “Do you mind telling me where my
real body is ?!“ No reply. Of course not. But after this huge shock she wouldn't have been too surprised if her belly button spoke to her.
When she was in Ryuu's body, he had to be in hers … or not ?!
“Don't you dare doing dirty suff with my body, Nakata Ryuu!“
She headed towards her wardrobe and looked through her clothes. A wide jeans and a sweater would work. Maybe. Well, no, it wouldn't work. Chiyo just realized that her clothes wouldn't fit Ryuu at all, which wasn't a bad thing because normally there would be no reason for him to wear Chiyo's clothes. Damn, she couldn't leave the house in a tank top which was way too short. And pink.
Carefully she opened the door. Her little brothers still seemed to sleep so she sneaked into her oldest brother's room to look for some clothes.
It didn't take her too long to find something, so she went into the bathroom where she looked into the mirror again. She still couldn't believe it.
She took off her tank top and eyes Ryuu's body for a while, then hesitated. She just
had to take a look. At least a short one. “Forgive me, Ryuu!“ She couldn't help but stare a while at Ryuu's little friend before someone knocked on the door.
“Nee-san! You in there ?! I need to use the toilet. Now!“Shit! She started to get dressed quickly. Her brother was still knocking on the door but she didn't really care. Now that she was inside of Ryuu's body she wanted at least to look good. Ryuu always looked good, but now she could have some fun styling his hair and stuff.
“Nee-san!!“When Chiyo came out of the bathroom her brother stared at her for some while. “Yo, I'm a friend of Chiyo, nice to meet ya“, she said, grinning a little while she headed towards her room, grabbing a bag and going to her little brother again who still seemed to be more than surprised. “D'you think you can keep this secret from you older brothers ?!“ Somehow this was fun. Chiyo's brother still stared at her, then nodded slightly.
“Great, Don't forget to wake up your brother... See ya! Oh, and be nice to your sis!“ With these words she left the house, leaving her very confused 14-year-old brother behind.
At first she thought about going to Ryuu's school, the Washizu High. But then again she didn't know many people there and maybe she could ask someone of the female tumbling team to help her look for her body. This was, if they believed her at all.
She decided to just ask the first person she met, which didn't take too long. “Yo, have you seen Chiyo around ?!“
