Naomi is somewhat short for her age, but she doesn't let it get her down. Too much. She has a round face framed by medium-length black hair, large, round brown eyes, and still much of the same baby fat she had even as a very little kid. While Naomi has a skinny enough build, she often gets teased for her young-looking face, especially now coming into high school.
She currently has only two piercings, one in each ear, and a small half-moon shaped scar on the thumb of her left hand.personality
Naomi has a great passion for all things artistic. While she's not particularly musically inclined or talented in the way of drawing or anything like that, she has a lot of creative vision, a lot of which she likes to put into her work with the school Broadcasting Club. Though a newer member of the group, she admires all her senpai and loves spending time with the members after class, whether to go out shopping together or do something as simple as hanging out in the local parks.
In fact, Naomi loves spending time with most all of her friends. She loves to indulge in her girly side and go shopping with her female friends, though on the rare occasion, she doesn't mind going with male friends to the local shopping areas with game arcades and purikura places. (She adamantly avoids the town's main arcade, due to the somewhat bad-looking crowd that often seem to hang around there).
Naomi can be a bit stubborn when she wants or needs to be, and she's certainly not prone to being anger-less or perfectly patient, but her emotions are pretty moderate, and she tends to only get upset over things that are really serious. To her, at least.
Naomi grew up almost like an only-child, without her brother having been around until she was in middle school, but she absolutely adores Ryosuke. She finds his and his friends' Yankee styles scary, but almost a bit intriguing as well. Unable to imagine what it would be like to smoke and fight and defy all the rules, Naomi is curious how her brother actually feels about all those things, because besides the bad stuff, she otherwise sees him as a good guy. And more than that, she wants adamantly to bridge the gap between her parents and her sibling. She knows her parents don't dislike her brother, but she sees how the three react and is aware of the common feeling of hatred they all seem to think the other has. She would like nothing more than to show the three of them that while they all might pretend to dislike and want to avoid each other, it's not actually true.
Naomi might be a bit selfish at times, and she's prone to being clumsy and silly to boot, but she's otherwise a good soul who likes all things cuddly, comfortable, and homey, and she tries to make it a point in life to surround herself with these good things. Overall, there's not anything about her that's particularly special or standout-ish (at least in her mind), and that's just fine, because she prefers to stay out of the public eye.
Unless it involves broadcasting.
Broadcasting is when Naomi comes alive. Even though, of course, she tends to get chatty and outgoing with those she is close to, she can become a whole new personality while working for the school radio. In a place where no one can see her, just hear her voice, Naomi feels most comfortable really taking a big step and allowing her inner award-winning actress to take over. And when she's done with broadcasting for the day, she goes back to her normal self.
Naomi is just your average, hard-at-work schoolgirl, with a determination to do well and an otherwise content existence.family & history

Mother: Shiori, Housewife

Tsukimori Naomi was born to Shun and Shiori just about four years after her older brother Ryosuke. Even though she'd come into the family's life at a point when Ryosuke had been the center of attention, she became the family's pride and joy, and suddenly she was the one growing up with all the attention being devoted her way. Though she couldn't, of course, understand it as a small child, her older brother seemed to avoid playtime with her, and as the years passed and she became a little older, she oftentimes found herself feeling a little lonely, as her brother--it seemed--was hardly around at all. More than that, though she treasured the attention she received from her parents, she missed the presence of someone close to her own age and sometimes felt as though she didn't have a brother at all!
Naomi was entered into elementary school one year earlier than most kids (though for no special or specific reason except that she'd been deemed intelligent enough), and it was there that she found many of the people who would become her good friends. Her parents allowed her to have friends over all the time after classes, so even though her brother was usually never around, she sought fun in all her new friendships. Likewise, she was doing well in her classes. School became something of a fun pasttime for her. She liked getting up early, putting on her school uniform, and going to class to learn things with her friends. Her favorite classes were the artistic ones, like art and music, though she loved the science-related classes as well.
While Naomi was still in elementary school, the family decided to move from the city south to a more suburban area, Miura City, and Naomi had to say goodbye to all her school friends. She became rather depressed at the prospect of losing all her friends, and even though she and her brother pleaded with their parents to stay in the city and their home, the move was made. Naomi would realize later that it had been a good thing, not only for her and her brother's sakes, but for the fact that her father had had to quit his city job because of the brutal hours. His new job in Miura City had a higher pay, and though the hours were still very long, they weren't nearly as taxing as the ones he'd worked in the city.
When Naomi finally progressed into middle school, it was around the same time her brother moved on to high school and the time when he started devoting more and more time to her. Towards the end of their life together in Tokyo, he'd seemed to have noticed her more. They'd begun talking more and more, no more one-word greetings when they ran into each other in the house. Ryosuke had spent most of his life busy outside of the home, but by the time Naomi was in middle school, even though she'd become aware of what kind of person he was outside the home--by his clothes, his hair, the smell of smoke, everything.......she loved him. By the time she was in middle school, those years they'd lost together as siblings and friends were slowly being made up. On the few nights when he would be at home, sometimes she would go to his room just to talk to him. Even though she'd often dreamed about having a big sister to ask advice from (or be a big sister from whom a younger sibling could ask advice from), Ryosuke proved to be surprisingly helpful and patient. And the conversations about advice quickly became casual, fun ones. While Ryosuke seemed hesitant to tell her about his ventures as a Yankee, the stories she could bribe out of him made excellent stories for her friends the next day. She just made sure never to tell them that they were actually real. And as the years passed, even those conversations with her brother and story-tellings became good practice for what would end up being a huge interest in broad-casting. Naomi wasn't exactly the most outgoing student out there, but after receiving a pamphlet about what kinds of clubs would be available to her once she was in high school the following semester, she immediately became interested in the broadcasting on. More than anything, she wanted to share news and stories with the student body.
Now Naomi is in high school, a new member of the Broadcasting club, and she's working hard for her school career there. Years have passed, and she and her brother are closer than ever. Even despite the friendships she has outside of school, she no longer feels alone at home, even when her brother isn't around, and she adamantly believes that her family's relationship can only improve from here on out. Even though she's putting a great deal of focus on her studies, currently, there's actually a boy in her school that she really likes.....other
