Hinako has got dark-brown, shoulder-length hair framing her oval face. Her eyes are brown with black long lashes. Her cheeks have always a soft hue of pink on them and her full lips are easily graced by a soft smile.
Her height is 1,64m and her weight is… hey, you aren’t supposed to ask a girl about that, right? She is quite delicate and slim though.personality
Hinako is a very social and caring person. She doesn’t just take care of her family but she is also very protective and devoted to her friends. She is always trying to help out when someone is in trouble and she is a really good listener. She is taking promises very serious and always tries to make everyone happy. She’s got a very positive attitude and many people are astonished of her sad past. She is always trying to look at the good side of life though and doesn’t give up so easily.
Hinako is a very headstrong and strong-willed person, she sometimes even tends to be quite bossy – especially when it comes to people she knows very well. She doesn’t mean it but she tends to order people around and take care of everything by herself.
She can be very shy though, especially when it comes to boys she likes a lot.
Deep inside Hinako is hopeless romantic and she always keeps a romance novel hidden under her pillow so no one of her brothers will ever find out. She is dreaming of a Prince one day coming to marry her and to give her family enough money to live a great life. She knows that this will never happen, but daydreaming could be named as one of her hobbies next to listening to music (mostly J-Pop), drawing and reading manga, and cooking.
Next to taking care of the household and her younger brothers, Hinako is a very good student. She is quite smart and picks up new stuff very easily. Especially Japanese history and physics are her favourite subjects. She is studying in the evenings and in the breaks at school. She also sometimes likes to sit down in front of the house at the sea and read through her books. Somehow the sounds of the waves help her study faster.
Like every girl Hinako is interested into fashion and would love to be able to go shopping like her classmates do. She sometimes goes into the shops though just to try on stuff, imagining what she would do in this certain outfit, just to undress again and to put it back where it belonged in the shelves.
Her favourite food are mango’s and all kind of pasta.
She strongly dislikes arrogant jerks.
Her most disliked food is celery.
Hinako’s special talent is singing. Sometimes, in her daydreams, she dreams about becoming really famous and making her family rich.
She knows that her talent isn’t more worth than a bit of karaoke and the schoolband though.family & history

Hinako had always been used to being poor, her family had never been rich. She didn’t mind though when she was little. She had her parents, her older brother; they lived at the shore at the harbor where always had been any kind of adventure. She had always looked up to Keiji even though they had their arguments, but that’s how siblings are, right?
Hinako can’t remember very well the birth of her first little brother or her mother’s pregnancy beforehand, but she remembers the smell of hospital and the tiny bundle in her mother’s arm. She participated happily in bathing the little boy, changing his diapers and carrying him around, patting his back when he was having the first month’s colic’s.
Soon after his birth, their mother got pregnant again and Hinako was hoping for a little sister she could take care of and do funny hairstyles with later on. Plus Keiji had his mini-me already so she wanted one for herself as well.
It was another boy though – and then her mother fell sick. Hinako didn’t understand what was wrong with her back then, all she understood was that her Mom was always sad. There were days in which she didn’t even get out of bed and Hinako had to bring her the youngest sibling whenever he cried for food while she took care of the other younger brother. Keiji had to deliver newspapers to get more money in and so Hinako was sometimes all alone with her mother and the two little brothers, overwhelmed and unable to cope with everything at the same time. She started to clean the little house, took care of the meals (she got really good at preparing boiling water for instant soups) and that everything stayed like it used to be.
At night she snuggled up to her older brother Keiji, searching assurance and safety. He was still her hero and she was sure that he would find some way, together with their father and that their mother would be normal again one day. She hoped this day was coming very soon.
When their mother had a job again and sometimes worked late at night, Keiji took care of her and her little brothers.
She doesn’t like thinking about this night, the certain night… the one in which she fell asleep lying next to her younger brothers, always waking up for a few moments, seeing Keiji still sitting there. Waiting.
She never came back; their Mom. Instead the Police arrived. It was very early in the morning and Hinako awoke from the strange voices. She knew that everything would change now.
From this day on she decided to become strong like her brother and to take care of the house and the family.
Now she is a quite fabulous cook and became a pretty resolute young lady, trying her best to bring up her younger brother and also trying to discipline her older one from time to time.other
