Yuuta has got black hair, wearing it in a simple cut he most likely had since he was a kid. He doesn’t care much about his outer appearance even though his nice cut face with the big, brown eyes looks quite handsome. In secret he likes the mole under his left eye. His lips are full and the corners of his mouth always point a bit up. He has got a very nice, sweet smile; he uses not very often though.
He is 1,75m tall and weighs around 52 kg. He is slim and toned due to his dedication to Tumbling for years. His clothing is, apart from his gakuran, casual. He likes soft materials and is often seen in sweatpants and a simple t-shirt.personality
My Goals
“Whenever I am asked about the most impressing moment of my life I answered: ‘Watching the Tumbling Team.’ And still after all these years my feelings haven’t changed towards Tumbling. It is still my goal to do a group performance similar to what I’ve seen back then. I know that we still have a long way to go and a lot to learn, but I also know that you have to put a lot of effort in life to achieve your goals.”
The Character
Takenaka Yuuta is a very determined person and he can be really strict with himself – and also with other people. Brought up in a very traditional Japanese family he was taught to study hard and to work hard for everything in his life. He is very ambitious and dedicated to his task.
You could describe Yuuta as quiet, calm, reserved and almost distant. When you get to know him better you will notice that he is just a very shy and almost insecure person. Due to the fact that he is a perfectionist, he doesn’t go very easy on himself and he is very determined to let no one know about his weakness, e.g. his insecurities.
If there is any problem ahead, Yuuta most likely wants to solve it himself. He quickly feels responsible for things happening and sometimes it’s not that easy for him to trust other people. He is very autonomous and a very good leader.
He doesn’t know it but his passion and determination brings other person to follow him. When he gets excited about something, a smile is spreading over his face, his eyes are glowing and he is almost trembling with anticipation.
Even though he seems very reserved most of the time and very calm, he can explode like a Volcano when he gets mad. His common sense seems to be vanishing in this very moment and he is able to throw things or even attack the person who was the reason for his anger. He regrets those outbursts very soon, though and he really doesn’t like this part of his character. He tries to suppress his feelings for most of the time and remains silent and still like a stone sometimes while all his emotions are boiling up under his surface.
Yuuta is also very accurate. He is planning many of his actions out and is thinking everything through before he is acting. Most of the time at least.
What he enjoys most is peace and harmony. He likes being among his friends, having fun and doing together what they love the most: Tumbling.
Being very dedicated to the people he loves, he is deeply affected when something happens to his friends or when finding out something about them he should have seen years ago. He would do anything for them and he feels responsible for them all.

Yuuta’s favourite subjects are Math and English. Especially Mathematics is helping him quite nicely with arranging the choreography’s.
His favourite candy is sugared popcorn. His favourite dishes are Ramen and Omu-Rice.
He loves the beach and the sea. Another hobby of him is sailing.
His favourite colours are blue and red.

Yuuta’s least favourite subjects are Politics and Social Studies.
He hates sour candy and Natto.
He dislikes violence and thinks that talking things out is the only right way.

Yuuta is deep inside scared of being let down by other people. He also constantly worries about being not good enough.family & history

Brought up as an only child had its pro’s but also its con’s. The pro was surely that Yuuta was allowed to join every Club he wanted – even though it was just because he had happened to watch a Tumbling team train at a local Gym. Actually Yuuta had been there to apply for the football club because his parents thought that every boy had to do some sort of sports and in elementary school there hasn’t been a Club like that. Instead young Yuuta had walked down the wrong floor, following the sound of music and a kind of… grunting. He had been curious – and astonished when he saw the group of men tumbling. He knew in this very moment that this was his destination, that he wanted to fly, to dance like that. He wanted to be in harmony with a group of people like that. He was sure that the men were all great friends.
Needless to say that he didn’t join the football Team. Instead he told his parents to be patient for one more year. He told them about his dream to join a Rhythmic Gymnastics Club. At first his parents weren’t so sure what to think about that, it didn’t sound like a very manly sport at all. Actually they hadn’t known up until know that something like that for men even existed. Together with their determined son they did some research though and soon they found a middle school in which this Club existed. Yuuta was happy.
After Yuuta had changed to the middle school and joined the Rhythmic Gymnastics Club for boy he trained very hard. He tried handstands for hours – his parents got used to the rhythmic *bump* when his feet hit the floor again. Yuuta dreamt of the group performance with 6 people but of course he wasn’t good enough yet. He didn’t make as many friends as well as he had imagined. Actually one of his best friends within the team was his kohai Satoshi. The kind boy grew onto Yuuta’s heart since he joined the Club. He enjoyed teaching the younger boy everything he knew and hanging out after school.
Whenever there was the time to choose the members of the group performance though Yuuta never had been chosen. Never.
It was depressing, it was annoying. He had given so much effort. For nothing.
He didn’t go to the Washizu Academy. First of all because he didn’t want his family to pay the enormous amount of school fees and second because… well because Tsurumi went there. The boy had never made it very easy for Yuuta. He looked down on him and even though Yuuta never answered to his nasty comments, a tiny little part in him, the tiny nasty part every one of us owns, swore that he would beat this guy one day.
He went to the Karasumori Highschool. It was a school with a very good girls’ team. But with no boys team at all. Yuuta wanted to change that. He watched the other boys in p.e. to check out their abilities. Very soon he noticed Kaneko, Mizusawa and Aoyama. He decided to convince them (or rather: force them) to join is Rhythmic Gymnastics Club for Boys. When finally the first gave in he went straight to the teachers room to ask for the acceptance of starting a new Club.
From then on he started to live his dream – even though it was sometimes hard, embarrassing and depressing.other

HOW DID YOU...? When I asked for information because I wanted to write a fanfic, Mizusawa was so nice to tell me on LJ that the part of Yuuta was free (again).
So I joined! *rattashing*

COMMENT/OTHER: I am from Germany so my English might be a bit off sometimes (just correct me please, I need to learn!) and cos of this I sometimes might write at weird times xD
