Hino has never been extremely experienced in social techniques, as making friends was never high on his priorities list. Because friends could be burdens, and burdens got in the way of his Gymnastics, which in the end was his one and only focus.
Hino was a loner by nature, and standoffish to all those close to him; even if that was a very short list. Hino spends most of his time in the gym working on his solo routine, knowing very well people were watching but not letting their presence deterring his training or his concentration.
Hino is very aware of his talent as a gymnast, and his confidence usually comes across as arrogance mostly due to his lack of people skills.
History:
Hino is a part of a small, task driven family. His father and older brother are elites in apparatus gymnastics, something which Hino had taken up when he was younger before transferring to Rhythmic gymnastics. However, because of this change his father had never taken his hard work seriously, deeming him an embarrassment.
Always being compared to his older brother and his father’s unreachably high expectations as an athlete and as a son, brought on Hino’s needed change.
Hino uses a tough outer shell to disguise his personal insecurities. Something he developed early in his teens to shield his emotions from the disappointment his father outwardly forced upon him.
