2011 Calendars?

Are you like me, and never know what today's date is? Are you like me, and like looking at attractive things? Well, it's Japanese calendar season, and you might be in luck!

Some of our boyz have been featured in calendars that are in heavy rotation, even on the English sites! They include Yamamoto, Miura, Daito, and AAA (Nishijima's group). Other "ikemen" types I've seen to have calendars in heavy rotation are Hongo Kanata, Koike and Wentz from WaT, Daigo*Stardust (wait, does he count?) and Kato Kazuki. I think D-BOYS (Seto and Yanagishita's talent agency) releases a calendar, but from what I gather, it's for the "school season" so it starts in April and goes until March.

Anyone here think they'll get one? Like all media in Japan, they're a bit pricey but they're oversized and glossy and really nice! I'm not sure if I have the money, but...

Personally, I'm considering you-know-who's calendar, but I might be swayed by the one for the All-Japan Soccer Team (I fell in love after the World Cup <3), or one of the cute older or Korean guys I'm a fan of...

...or Shiba dogs, maybe.

I sure would like one of those calendars! They're always so nice, no matter what celebrity they're for!! The only thing is that I'd have to buy it while in Japan since I can't buy online...And the only problem with that is that I genuinely do not know where I can buy calendars out there. I swear, you can go in all the local bookshops and HMVs and Tower Records and, while they'll have calendars, it's never of the idol variety...WHERE THE HECK ARE THEY SOLD???

I've ordered the AAA calendar!! And i got an email saying it shipped out yesterday even though i wasn't due to come out until October according to the site. I'm more than happy that it's coming early though!!!

I ordered Yusuke's calendar but its not going to be sent until like the end of october, so yeh. Still got a while to go. I wanted a desktop calendar of him, but i guess they only have full on big wall hanging ones eh?
A toma calendar would be good too... but he doesnt have one...maybe not one of his own.

So I just did a little online research, and found that, of course, Johnny's handles their calendar releases differently. Like the D-BOYS calendar, it's a school planner that only goes from April to March... and I think only the singing groups (ARASHI, KAT-TUN, etc.) and maybe Johnny's Juniors get them. Though I think Ikuta's graduated already? So, it doesn't look like he'll appear in a calendar at all... but you still have time to look just in case.

Okay, so Tomiura is going to have a calendar being released by his agency, info is here! It's cheaper than usual calendars (1800 JPY, tax-in) but around the size of a CD case. But yay for Satoshi! \O/
