this article here says that Yamamoto Yusuke was spotted with a 21-year old girl in his apartment.

She might be, or not, his girlfriend.

I was shocked, really. But if it's really true, I'm happy for him.

Not that I'm not interested, but I really hate the way media pokes and prods at the personal lives of celebrities... especially in Japan, when the younger attractive starts are pressured into maintaining this facade of "availability", whether or not they're interested in dating or are even in a relationship.

But whatevs. He's a good-looking guy who seems nice, so it shouldn't surprise anyone that he could be seeing someone. If he is, I hope he's happy, and that the media and overzealous fans don't give him too much flack.

I completely agree. It really angers me sometimes about the media noseying in on people's lives. Like that whole fiasco with Miyavi and PSC...

The media treats the whole dating thing like a sin.
That poor Kitano Kie and Sano Kazuma. She had to apologize to media after their relationship was discovered. Why did she have to apologize?

Let us all hope the boy will be happy with his girlfriend, and the media will stop messing with people's lives.

Yeh, i agree with you guys! Even though i'm a big yusuke fan, its not surprising that he's going out with someone! And the japanese celebs definetely deserve to have their own personal lives without having the media and all poking their noses in all the time. It's so sad for them cause its like they have no freedom. Especially JE boys and the others who are young and popular.. cause the company reckons once they have a girlfriend or something, then they lose fans? Cause the girl fans get jealous and all. Such a load of crap =='

There was a lot of heated discussion when Miura Shohei was said to be going out with a model (I forget her name). If they were ever together, I don't think they're together anymore, but I was really upset the way the media handled it. And you know what? It seems like the media has only gotten worse over the years, huh?
