Hino's voice as hardly audible through the thick metal doors but Wataru was directly infront of it, so even his quarterly deaf ears could manage to hear what Hino shouted.“We’re fine!” Hino shouted back through the solid door that separated them.
Immediately, Wataru was swept with a sense of relief. Atleast everyone's safe. Wataru didn't want anything to happen, especially when this was supposed to be like a holiday. All he could manage was to release a heavy sigh, showing how glad he felt, knowing that everyone inside was alright. Wataru had already considered the tumbling team to be his 2nd family and if anything happened to them, he would be more than devastated.
Then. Wataru looked over at Nippori whose face looked more stun than ever. “I…” he started, words stuttering and mouth gaping slightly as he blinked. “….I didn’t just imagine that d-did I? Th-that was…Th-they…” His mouth opened and closed a few times, before he managed to speak again. “I didn’t j-just hear that wrong…did I?” Wataru glanced back at the elevator doors and then back at Nippori and everyone else. Slightly biting his bottom lip nervously, Wataru didn't know what to say. He wasn't sure what was going on himself and couldnt really register what he just heard either. Wataru was as dumbfounded as Nippori. Well, they are brothers.
"No, I don't think you heard wrong...but maybe..the conversation got cut off or something..Yeh, something like that." Wataru stuffed both of his hands in his pants pockets and continued "So maybe we didn't hear the whole thing correctly... I think". For some reason, he felt like it was his responsibility to keep Nippori to NOT think the the wrong direction. But he was unsure himself. Even with what Wataru had just reassured, his eyes betrayed the uncertainty he was experiencing as they darted away from everyone's glance.
Luckily that was when Kiyama walked over to the escalator and tried the most unusual attempt in opening the thick doors. Pen in hand, he slid it inbetween the crack, trying to force open the doors to save the poor members stuck inside. How smart, Wataru thought admiringly. I wish I had thought of something like that. As expected from Kiyama. He could only watch in astonishment, but unfortunately, the pen was not sturdy enough and gave way, breaking into pieces.
But it was a good attempt.
Then, Kiyama, being the manliest out of men, used his bare hands, tried to pull open the metal doors although the crack was hardly big enough to even fit his fingers. Wataru was genuienly surprised at how had Kiyama was trying and his eyes widened with surprise. Standing there like an idiot, Wataru would almost call Kiyama his aniki. If anyone could beat Wataru in being cool, it would be Kiyama.
"Help me out, will you?" Kiyama's tone was authorative and strong, making Wataru respond immediately. "Ah, hai." Resting on his knees, Wataru was trying to pull the doors open from the bottom of the elevator while Kiyama attempted on the middle part. The strength would be more spread out that way, . That was Wataru's theory. He crammed all his fingers in the narrow gap, except for his thumbs and tried to pull the foors apart with all his strength.
Then Kiyama turned to the elevator, shouting so the occupants would be able to hear. "You guys back up from the door, we're gonna try to get you out!"
Yes, Kiyama was right. It was up to them who were outside. They were the ones who aren't trapped. The only ones that could get the trapped ones out.
Yelling, Wataru responded to the trapped members "Try to stay calm, we'll somehow manage to get you out real soon so don't worry." Wataru looked at Kiyama and gave him a determined nod , sending a telepathic message of let's do this!
"Oi, Nippori, come and help too!" Wataru didn't look in Nippori's direction as he asked the younger boyt to join them. He was too preoccupied with trying to make the doors open. His fingers were already starting to feel the pain, proving that bones and flesh can never win against metal.
"Damn this!" Wataru was beginning to feel the frustration building up. The door hadn't even moved 1cm apart, yet the joints in his fingers felt as though they would dislocate any moment soon.
"Just what is with this door?!?"

That moment where he had been pressed against Ryosuke, could feel their hearts pounding together in their chests, his lips pressed against the other boy's, his warmth, and the slight shelter the boy's additional size provided...it had all felt very good following that frightening fall from a moment ago, and coupled with the sexual frustrations he had only just begun to unleash on Hino.
Until reality hit.
He was still feeling pretty dazed when he felt Ryosuke suddenly pushing him out of his lap, jumping to his feet as if he had been burnt by Mizusawa's unintended kiss. Mizusawa just lay on the floor where he had been pushed, looking down at its cold surface as if he'd found something interesting there. He didn't want to look up, to let Ryosuke see the deep blush that had now settled on his cheeks.
"Mizusawa! Mizusawa, what is that? Why is that...?"
Ryosuke sounded like he was hyperventilating and, as much as Mizusawa wanted to tell the other boy he was overreacting and that everything that had just happened was one giant accident, he knew Ryosuke had a reason to sound that way. The elevator fall, for example. That had been the scariest thing that had ever happened in Mizusawa's life, and he figured it was probably the same for Ryosuke too. For all they knew, they might still have quite a ways to fall. That, and...well...Ryosuke was one of the straightest guys he knew...And also the one guy who knew about him and Hino who had been good enough to keep their secret...and...
Oh, this was the worst.
"Mizusa...you...you were kissing me! You were...oh my God, I can still taste you. WHY ARE YOU HARD!?"
He cringed at Ryosuke's words, recoiling further from the other boy and at the same time subconsciously trying to hide the one thing Ryosuke had happened to notice. That hadn't been meant for him, that had been from before, that short but heated moment with Hino...
Hino, who had now run forward to press one of the buttons on the wall near Ryosuke. Mizusawa shakily got to his feet as well, embarrassed to be in his own body right now. He looked to see what it was that Hino had pressed, avoiding the other boy's eyes and wondering what he thought about the situation, only to suddenly hear shouting a moment later. From outside the elevator.
That meant that the elevator had stopped on a floor level. And that someone knew they were trapped in here. And that whoever it was had probably just heard everything Ryosuke had just shouted, if it had been loud enough.
"Oi, Ryosuke? Can you hear me? Are you guys alright in there?"
Wataru.
Mizusawa blanched, as the red-haired boy's voice was followed by the sound of someone banging on the doors.
“We’re fine!” Hino shouted back through the solid door that separated them.
His voice, even to Mizusawa, sounded muffled in the small space the elevator provided--small enough that right now, it felt as if all the walls were closing in on them. He couldn't get a safe enough distance away from Ryosuke. And having Hino here to have just witnessed all of that was just as troubling...
There was only the sound of their frantic breathing and then some hushed voices on the other side of the door, and Mizusawa felt his heart rate quickening again. How many people were out there? Wataru had recognized that Ryosuke had been speaking. Was he with friends right now?
The voices on the other side continued, then the sound of something like weakening metal. Mizusawa remained frozen in his new corner of the elevator, praying that that sound didn't mean they were going to experience yet another moment of free-falling. Knowing his luck, he'd end up mashed between Ryosuke and Hino this time.
That was when he heard a voice he recognized all too well. And one he really didn't want to hear at a moment like this. Kiyama's.
"You guys back up from the door, we're gonna try to get you out!"
He felt a stab of pain in his heart, but did as the other boy commanded, settling against the back of the elevator and praying that they would be able to get out safely, that no one had heard Ryosuke's words, and that "it" would finally go away. Why was it still here anyway? He was cold, scared, and now mortified.
"Try to stay calm, we'll somehow manage to get you out real soon so don't worry."
He kept his eyes glued to the floor as he drew his knees in, wishing that Wataru's words could be as comforting for him as they were intended. But he knew that no matter what happened after this, things with Ryosuke were only going to be far tenser. And truth be told, looking down at himself now, he knew it was all his fault. He should never have kissed Hino, not with Ryosuke around. But looking at the other boy, having been so close to him...maybe it was this impending sense of danger that had lent to the adrenaline rush that had followed, but he'd been unable to contain himself.
"Just what is with this door?!?"
He had to say something...he had to. He owed it to Ryosuke, however much the other boy hated him now. Biting his lip, pulling his legs closer to his chest, he sighed. "I..." his voice was soft, hoarse again, though he was more surprised that he even had a voice left at this point. "I'm really sorry, guys..." His voice shook, and he felt the rest of him shudder involuntarily too.
ooc: I'm sorry I didn't get much done with this post, guys. >< I wasn't sure what I could have Mizu do to open the doors on their end. So I just had him respond to what's going on...>< Gomen!

OOC: Oh my gosh....the awesomeness that is this post...I finally got to go back and re-read everyone's responses and had to work really hard to keep from laughing out loud, cuz poor Alex was sleeping! XD Oh my gosh, great job, guys. XDDDDD I liked Kiyama and the guard guy so much. XD
Not a moment after he'd spoken, stumbling backwards into the far corner of the elevator, one hand touching his own lips as if doing so would ward away the feeling of Mizusawa's on them, Ryosuke heard a familiar voice come back to them through the walls, a voice accompanied by someone pounding on the doors.
In addition, Hino was suddenly on the same side of the elevator as Ryosuke. The blonde Yankee hadn't even seen him come over....had he been trying to tackle him for kissing his guy or something? Though, judging by the look on Hino's face, he was just shocked by the whole thing like everyone else, and the fall had probably scared him too.
"Oi, Ryosuke? Can you hear me?" Wataru. It was Wataru. F*ck, had he heard what Ryosuke had said? Thinking about it now, the blonde Yankee blanched. He'd had no idea that they would end up where any of their teammates would be--and that made him wonder, was it just Wataru?--and that wasn't even pointing out the fact that his reaction had been involuntary. He'd been so shocked and...well, he didn't want to sound like a jerk thinking appalled, even if it was partly true that he had been, but....
Ryosuke looked over at Mizusawa. The other was still on the floor where he'd pushed him....
"Are you guys alright in there?" There was more banging, and then Ryosuke heard Wataru murmur something aloud, something only just inaudible for him to make out, and he knew with a sinking feeling that there had to be at least one other team member around.
One hand still on the stinging spot on his head where it had smashed into the railing, the other finally moved away from Ryosuke's lips and up against the far wall as he backed into the corner, suddenly more emotionally strung than before. He'd managed to calm his breathing some, even though the concern of running out of air in the small chamber was hovering somewhere in the back of his mind.
This seemed really unfair.
"We're fine!" Hino finally called back. Ryosuke felt some gratitude that the other had spoken, because he seemed to be at a loss for words. Everything he'd meant--and hadn't meant--to say had come out just mere moments ago, and now there was just nothing left. Oh God, what if Wataru, what if anyone else had heard....?
Everyone in the elevator had gone quiet for the moment, but with the ridiculously awkward silence that settled over them, Ryosuke could hear the heated murmurs outside the elevator door. He couldn't make out the words, but he wondered if he even needed to try and guess. By the sound, there were far more than even just two people behind the wall now separating them, and that just meant....
"Oh no...." Ryosuke slid down to the floor of the elevator, cradling his head in his hands. "Dammit..."
But the voice Ryosuke heard next felt like the "end all." He suddenly felt all the blood rushing to his face...
"You guys back up from the door, we're gonna try to get you out!"
Kiyama. Kiyama was with Wataru. Had he heard everything that had gone on...? No...no he couldn't have, could he? Now that Ryosuke pondered the situation, they'd fallen, everything had been a loud mess--he'd started yelling, yeah, but the odds that everyone had been by the elevators and still managed to hear them while the elevator had been groaning its own disapproval...
As if trying to chase Ryosuke from his thoughts, there was suddenly some kind of odd scratching sound coming to them from the world beyond the elevator doors.
And as if sensing all the man-angst going on in that too-small space inside the elevator, Wataru called out them, "Try to stay calm, we'll somehow manage to get you out real soon so don't worry."
For some reason, the words weren't soothing Ryosuke's spirits, or--evidently--either of the other boys'. And Ryosuke knew he only felt ten times worse when he heard Wataru call Nippori over to help him in whatever they were doing. Wataru, Nippori, Kiyama....? What the hell, why didn't the whole Tumbling team go ahead and know all about him and Mizusawa and Hino? Sharing was for everyone, after all. Why the hell should it just be limited to his three closest friends!?
Ryosuke was surprised he could manage even sarcastic thoughts at this point.
Yet in all his griping and with all the noise from the other side of the elevator, he didn't hear the words that came from Mizusawa.
Sitting there, curled up into a ball, Ryosuke chanced a glance at Hino, Hino, who moments before, he'd been sure had been trying to purposely irk him with that slick look of his, to find that his kouhei was oddly passive about the whole thing....Or at least, on the exterior, Hino was doing ten times better than either he or Mizusawa. It was surprising, considering the magnitude of everything that had just occurred, but there he was, standing there, looking almost patient for when the guys would open the doors.
And yet Mizusawa....
Ryosuke looked over at the other boy, though hesitantly. The crestfallen look on his face, the way he'd curled up in the corner, legs drawn to his chest, as if he was eager to meld himself into the smallest of shapes and just disappear.........Ryosuke knew he'd caused that hurt. And seeing it now, he felt bitter too. He hadn't meant to insult Mizusawa, and certainly not hurt him. But his reaction had been unintentional. And all things considered, he didn't think it had been too out of line. Even if he had had any real way of stopping himself from expressing his own shock, he thought he had the right to feel the way he did about it....It would have been one thing if Mizusawa had been as mindblown about it as he, but it was obvious that the other had been enjoying it, at least partially. Ryosuke had been the one to move, and if he hadn't been imagining things, had Mizusawa been leaning into him for the kiss? Anyway, there was a really obvious physical indicator of at least some sense of enjoyment, one that Ryosuke really didn't want to think about. And that being said, considering the blonde Yankee had been the other half Mizusawa had been enjoying and the fact that his own emotions had begun to become frayed with what he'd formerly witnessed between Hino and Mizusawa at the other 3rd year's home.....Well....
Ryosuke opened his mouth to murmur some kind of apology, words he wasn't sure he could get out, when there was another loud screeching sound, and suddenly light began to pool into the small chamber of the elevator. Ryosuke raised a hand to it to shield his eyes, only vaguely aware of the fact that they'd fallen past the actual landing. Though he could see the light and the outlines of people, just mere shadows, against it, they were much higher than where Ryosuke and Mizusawa sat, or even where Hino stood on the floor. Did this mean they were still going to fall?
Ryosuke wondered....did he even care anymore?
ooc: EWWW, it's terrible!!! >_<

Nippori didn’t know what else to do except just stand there, with that same confused look on his face from before. His mind was still jumbled and trying to come up with different scenarios about how he could have heard wrong, or any other way what he heard could be completely different to what it sounded like. But try as he might, each thought and idea was getting more and more ridiculous than the previous one to flitter through his confused brain.
He felt that he was perhaps slowly burning himself out now. He was too tired to be this confused. Even if he was completely rested up when this had happened, he would still have been really confused, so when you add in the fact that he was tired, it just things all the more difficult for him to process and take in.
“No, I don’t think you heard wrong...but maybe...the conversation got cut off or something.. Yeh, something like that,” Aniki spoke, and Nippori’s confused gaze turned to him instantly. “So maybe we didn’t hear the whole thing correctly...I think.” Nippori really wanted to believe him, really he did, but Aniki’s own uncertainty about what they had heard was obvious. He gulped slightly, teeth worrying over his bottom lip slightly as he wrinkled his nose in confusion and continued to look at the elevator doors.
He thought that now, after this, he couldn’t take anything else in. He wanted sleep now more than ever, so that maybe this would make more sense in the morning. In fact, what if he was asleep and this was all just a dream? All his thoughts were so aimed towards the current situation, that he didn’t even realise that he wasn’t thinking about his family anymore.
The noises and voices by the elevator made him look up, and he noticed that Kiyama and Aniki were trying to prise the doors open. “Oi, Nippori, come and help too!” Aniki’s words made him snap to attention and out of his confused daze. He rushed forward to help Aniki and Kiyama try to pry the elevator doors open, sliding his long fingers in the small gap they had managed to make and pulling.
“Damn this! Just what is with this door?!?” Aniki exclaimed in frustration, and Nippori snorted. “My thoughts exactly,” he grunted through the effort of pulling the door. His thoughts were now slightly bitter ones about elevators, probably because of the pain he was experiencing in his fingers thanks to the doors. If it kept up like this, then one of them might seriously injure their fingers, and then would good would they be to anyone now, nevermind when it came to tumbling practice.
Pushing that one pessimistic thought aside, he continued to try and force the doors open. Stupid elevators... Never did like them much anyway... he thought bitterly, thinking of one time a few years ago that he nearly got caught in the doors of one as he’d rushed to try and get inside it before they closed. Thankfully, someone inside the elevator had pressed the button to keep the doors open, so just as they’d been about to close on him, they opened again just in time --
Wait. That was it. This could maybe work. He had to ask...
Suddenly feeling a little more clear-headed than before, he addressed the three stuck in the elevator. “Guys!” he called. “Are all the buttons on the panel still lit up?” Waiting on the answer, he turned his gaze back to Aniki and Kiyama, whilst still trying to open the doors with his hands, and their help, offering them an explanation of the idea he had in mind.
“There’s a button that holds the elevator doors open, right?” he started, his voice slightly strained from the effort of trying to pull the elevator doors open. “But it doesn’t work and open the doors again unless the doors are still open a certain amount. Maybe if we can get the doors open enough, and they press the button then maybe that’ll open the doors so they can get out?” Considering how the mic button in the elevator had still been working, it was worth a shot. The only thing that seemed to not be functioning was the elevators movement, nothing else.
((ooc – please excuse Nippori’s broken-ness at the beginning of this~ XD lolz anyway, once again, sorry this took so long! D: and I guess we’re gonna have to godplay Hino out of this thread too, huh?))
