ooc: This is prolly my shortest post tonight ): I'm sorry this post is so lame.
"Uh yeah...that's no problem. Don't wanna let the pudding go bad.....uhh, if it hasn't already?"
Keiko tried to hold back her laughter, not wanting to offend the waitress any more than they already have. But the pudding… really didn’t taste that good.
She turned to the waitress, who could only stare at them, “It was… a very interesting pudding.” From her peripheral vision, she could see Ryosuke getting his things together.
"'Scuse me..." Ryosuke leaned past their waitress, offering Keiko his jacket. "Since we're leaving and all..." Her attention turned back to the man across from her, she found Ryosuke holding his school jacket out to her.
Of course, they would be going outside, the temperature was probably worse than before. She took the jacket, slipping it on while the waitress watched, “Thanks Ryosuke-kun.” The boy smiled back, even giving her a wink.
Keiko couldn’t help it. She pondered for just a moment, that maybe this was what happened when one hung out with a Yankee. But… she wanted to mess with the waitress even more. Yankees were a bad influence, yeah, but… this was also kinda fun.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the waitress backing up, ”I’ll be right back with your check…”
She waited until the waitress was just a bit away before smiling at the blond. “Ryosuke-kun, do you mind walking me home? It’s late, and…” Turning her head, she dared to sneak a peek at the waitress, who had vanished out of sight.
Apparently, this date section of the shop wasn’t all bad.
She twisted back towards Ryosuke, “Ah… sorry about that. Either we really confused the waitress or…” She lowered her head, “But I was a little serious about the walking me home part. If that’s alright with you?”
Keiko blinked, realizing how that sounded, her head jerking upright, her hands up, “Uh… not that… you know, this was a date and all. It’s just late out and… I’d rather you would walk me than me going off by myself.”
The waitress, a new one, reappeared, a smile on her face, but even Keiko could see she was a little confused. “Hello there! Here’s your check! I hope you enjoyed your food.”
