Ryosuke sighed at his handiwork. A sleepover. He had to laugh to himself. Who'd ever really heard of a guy's sleepover? Ryosuke had gone over friends' homes many times, maybe even stayed a few days, but it had never been a matter of a big gathering and sleep-together with a bunch of guys. It sounded a lot like a girly thing to do. But as luck would have it, Ryosuke had been doing a lot of things people might consider "the girly thing to do." He hadn't been fighting as much, he hadn't been smoking, and he'd joined the men's rhythmic gymnastics team at his high school. The best part of it all? He loved it. He loved every minute of it, even if sometimes he worked double time not to look as gleeful about wearing tight pants and doing splits and stuff as some of the other guys. But now everything in his home was looking good. He'd cleaned up almost the entire house--though his mother typically kept it spotless enough that there hadn't been much to clean anyway. Even his little sister, Naomi, had pitched in, though she'd made him promise beforehand that he would let her hop in on their sleepover party for a moment or two. "Why?" he'd asked her as he'd emptied two boxes of Chocopies onto a tray. She'd merely shrugged. "Just curious what guys do at sleepovers, I guess." He hadn't refused. And now things were set. A clean house--even his room was pretty clean if they ended up chilling up there, though Ryosuke guessed the majority of the party would end up taking place downstairs, where he'd laid out all the trays of snacks and drinks, and where there was definitely plenty of space. When his mom had passed by the decorations on her way upstairs to bed, Ryosuke had mumbled a sort of, "Having a party now night mom" under his breath, choosing not to hear her response of "Don't make a mess. Night, Naomi." Ryosuke went through everything laid out. "Chocopies, yum, variety candy crap, chips, curry and melon pan...what the hell did I buy? Oh yeah, and then the stuff in the fridge, video games, good." He threw himself onto the just-made couch and sprawled out. Damn, he'd done enough work that the party hadn't even started yet and he was already tired. Anyway, he'd wake up once the other guys were around. He loved spending time with people, especially those guys, and it wasn't likely they were going to put him to sleep unless Kaneko had control of the floor or something and bored him senseless with some speech about.....something. Ding dong ding dong...ding dong ding dong!"Damn ugly doorbell..." Ryosuke bobbed on the couch for a moment before launching himself over the back and in the direction of the front door. If it was Wataru or Nippori at the door, they'd probably laugh at him for the doorbell, as they always did. He'd just have to remind them that it was his father's not-so-keen music taste, not his. Ryosuke brushed down his clothes a bit to get rid of any linger dust that might have gotten swept up onto it, even though he'd changed clothes after cleaning, and then pulled the door open. "Hey." He offered a peace sign. ooc: OUTFIIITTTT here! DON! And guys, can I request that we don't overperverticize (I made up a word there! O.O) Ryosuke? Just don't wanna write him that way! (And it wouldn't match my app for him!) (^人^) Onegai! And courtesy of kinolee, here is Ryosuke's doorbell. XDDD

(ooc: Okay, I went with melon shirt, but he is also wearing the overshirt that the other guy is wearing.)Satoshi was excited, it was his first time sleeping over at a senpai's house. Sure, everyone always went to either his family's bathhouse or Wataru's for omurice, but never did he stay the night. He made sure he had clean clothes set aside, his medicine placed in an easy to reach section of his bag. A box full of sweets his mother made sat on his bed. She was adamant he bring something along, as a thanks. He picked up the box, followed by his bag as he padded down the stairs to the doorway. He could hear his mother in the kitchen, probably cooking up something for herself and his father. Satoshi poked his head into the kitchen, "Mom, I'm going now." His mother turned away from the stove, "Have fun, dear. Call me tomorrow, alright?" He nodded, smiling as he toed his shoes on, opening the front door and setting off towards Ryosuke's house. He reached into his pocket, finding the directions the blond yankee scribbled out earlier that day. It shouldn't be too hard to find... He turned, waving at the old folk, keeping his smile plastered on his face. Most of the ones who returned his gestures were frequent customers at the bathhouse. Satoshi continued on, keeping true to the directions in his hand, soon finding himself in a decent looking neighborhood, the house in front of him looming. He checked the paper again. He was really in front of the right house? Giving himself a shrug, he walked towards the front door, pressing the doorbell. Ding dong ding dong...ding dong ding dong!Satoshi let out a laugh at the doorbell's sound, but quickly hushed when the door opened, revealing Ryosuke giving him a peace sign. "Hey.""Hello Tsukimori-senpai! Thanks for having me!" He walked inside, slipping his shoes off and following Ryosuke into the living room. He let his bag fall onto the floor beside the couch, he held up the box his mother made him bring, "These are for everyone, my mom made them." He ducked his head, "I told her not to, but she insisted." The doorbell sounded again, forcing Satoshi to look up, the box still waiting to be taken.

ooc: Mizusawa's outfit is here (he's obviously the short one in thepic! ): Clicky!ic: It might sound stupid, but Mizusawa was actually very excited for this sleepover. He'd never officially admitted it to anyone, but he enjoyed every moment that he got to spend with his team. They were like a second family, like the brothers that he didn't have. Oftentimes he found himself regretting when practice ended, and regretting when they had to split up. So some form of extending their stay with each other meant a lot to him. And heck, he'd never done a big sleepover before. He'd had a few small ones with Yuuta and Kaneko and Aoyama before, but never with the full tumbling team. As much as he loved discussing tumbling with them, now they could talk about whatever they wanted. It was going to be a great night. He'd first told his parents about what was going on, and his mother had insisting on making a large okonomiyaki for him to take over to Ryosuke's place. He'd also picked up some various-flavored mochi on his way home from school, as a type of desert. He didn't know if the others were going to bring anything, but it seemed only fair he brought something, considering Ryosuke had been good enough to host all of them. He'd also checked up on Hino, wondering if the other boy was interested in going with him. Things were still a little tense with Ryosuke--not too bad, but still a little--and he'd feel far better arriving with someone else. Unfortunately though, something had come up with Hino, and by the time he found out, it was too late for them to make any plans to go together. And so, packing his pillow, a few extra futon sheets (knowing Ryosuke couldn't possibly have enough for everyone), and the essentials, he put on his jacket, grabbed the bag of food, and headed out the door, his mom waving him off. The walk to Ryosuke's wasn't too far. He hadn't realized how close to each other they lived. Then again, this was a fairly small town. Maybe everyone lived pretty close here. He was lost in thought over random, silly things like that, when he finally reached Ryosuke's house. He had to recheck the address he'd scribbled down in his planner to confirm it. The house wasn't exactly rich--it was a little smaller than his--but it was still nice enough, especially for a Yankee. Though suddenly, Mizusawa got a random, in explainable nervous feeling in his stomach. Tensing against the feeling, he tried to shake it off, heading up the stairs to the front door of Ryosuke's home. Setting down the bag of food that he'd been carrying, he reached out to press the doorbell. But someone beat him to it. Ding dong ding dong...ding dong ding dong!"Mizusawa Sempai,", came the familiar voice from behind him, the voice of the person who had beat him to ringing the doorbell. Mizusawa didn't know whether to be surprised by the extremely random Tsukimori doorbell, or the voice of the person behind him. "Oh--" he said, quickly spinning around to meet the person's face. "Hino! You got here early." He was quite surprised to see the other boy, especially after they had been unable to meet up to go together. It looked like their plans had worked out anyway.

ooc: Okkk sooo sorry it doesn't add much to the last post. Ummm here isn't Hino's ourfit, but but but Hino does up his buttons!! Please keep that in mind. This was the only white shirt and vest pic I could find full body. So I'm going to use it HAHA Outfit HEREIt wasn’t the first time he had argued with his father about extracurricular activities. After he’s told him of his plans to stay at a friend’s house that night, his father’s reaction had been a simple ‘no’, it was as if instead of simply stating the situation, Hino had been posing a question. Which he hadn’t. He left it at that for a while; he wasn’t in the mood or mind set to fight with him. He would simply tell Mizusawa his plans had changed, which with a little regret, he did. There was a quiet knock at his bedroom door. “Tetsuya…” The kind voice of his mother followed the knock and he opened the door. She smiled sweetly at him. “I want you to go to your friends house” Hino knew she’d put a special emphasis on the word friends because it wasn’t a subject he’d ever spoke of freely at home. When he was younger she’d tried to nudge him gently towards other kids, but he hadn’t been interested. Training was always of the highest priority; his father’s disappointment was all he ever thought of. “I’ll speak to your father about it, don’t worry” She placed a gentle hand on his shoulder and squeezed it lightly. “Pack you bag, I’ll drive you there” He couldn’t help but smile back at her, he knew his eyes were glassy and lips were shaking slightly, but he didn’t care. He was happy. “Thankyou” He’d said a fond goodbye to his mother when she stopped the car at the end of Tsukimori’s street. He took his bag from the backseat and waved as the card departed. His destination wasn’t far from there; he walked down the thin street with his bag over his shoulder and a small content smile on his face. He was beginning to almost look forward to this sleepover; he’d originally only agreed to make an appearance because Mizusawa was going to be there. But now he was feeling a little more optimistic about the situation. Hino could see the yankee’s house as he rounded the corner and noticed someone standing rather blankly at the door. Mizusawa…He sped up his pace for the last few meters to the door. Walking in with Mizusawa meant he wouldn’t have to enter alone; he was a lot more comfortable with that prospect. It also meant that they had almost kept their plans. When he stepped up behind the other; he noticed two things, one being how nervous the elder looked, and the other being the bag of food Mizusawa had placed on the step. Hino inwardly cursed himself, he hadn’t had the forethought to bring any food with him. Was it a requirement for these things? He tilted his head and reached forward to ring the doorbell before Mizusawa himself had. Ding dong ding dong...ding dong ding dong!"Mizusawa Sempai," He greeted in a way of getting the others attention. "Oh--" Mizusawa responded and spun on his heal to meet his eyes. " Hino! You got here early." “Yes, sorry there was just a slight misunderstanding. But it’s ok now” Hino almost didn’t get the sentence out when the door opened.

ooc: Everyone's got such cute outfits!!! >o< And if you didn't get to hear Ryosuke's doorbell, here it is! XDDD Courtesy of the awesome kinolee! And I feel so bad for HINO!! SO SAD!!! ;_; Ryosuke hadn't been expecting Tsuchiya first, but he couldn't confess himself too surprised. Satoshi had always been either early or on time for meets. It would make sense for him to be one of the first to arrive. And he was looking as cheerful as always too. "Hello Tsukimori-senpai! Thanks for having me!"Ryosuke grinned. "Sure." He stepped back to allow the younger Karasumori student in, feeling a tad curious how this party was going to turn out with all the Tumbling guys present. He really did love 'em all, but it did feel odd hosting any kind of party at his place for the kinds of people he would probably once never have imagined as friends. And he was also wondering what his sister had in store, demanding to check in with them later. The blonde Yankee looked at Satoshi as he did all the usual customs of entering the house and moved inside. Had Naomi known Satoshi was coming? Maybe she liked him.... Satoshi raised a box of something, something that looked a lot like candy. "These are for everyone, my mom made them. I told her not to, but she insisted."Ryosuke raised his eyes at the sight of the snacks. "Wow...." He raised a hand to scratch at the back of his head. "I didn't expect anyone to bring anything. I've always been the one to go over other people's houses and just ate there." He laughed and shrugged. "Hey, I appreciate it, though. The more the merrier." The doorbell rang again, and it dawned on Ryosuke just how annoyed he was going to be by the time all eight of his teammates showed up. One time was more than enough of hearing his dad's damn door bell. He chanced a glance at Satoshi to see what he thought, and when he seemed unreadable, quickly replied, " You can put it on the coffee table with all the other stuffs. Probably ten thousand times better than the candy thing I put out. And thanks." Ryosuke opened the front door again. Was he surprised to see Hino and Mizusawa? No, he'd invited them after all. Showing up together? Nah, he knew better than that. "Hey guys..." He noticed the rather heavy amount of supplies Mizusawa had carried with him, including to the food bag, and gestured to the latter on the ground. "Need some help?" Rather than waiting for an answer, the blonde Yankee extended a hand to pick up the stuff and ushered the others to come inside after him. "We won't be starving tonight, at least. Thanks for bringing this. You didn't have to though." Ryosuke carried the bag over to the coffee table and rested it against one of the legs. "You can just drop your stuff by the couch if you want. Satoshi only just got here, so we're kinda just waiting on everyone else." Ryosuke plopped down into the single recliner in the room and grabbed the TV remote, flipping the brand new flat screen TV to one of his favorite comedy channels. "Hey, what do you guys watch when you're at home. I don't have any good movies or anything like that..."

I've always been the one to go over other people's houses and just ate there." He laughed and shrugged. "Hey, I appreciate it, though. The doorbell rang, Ryosuke glancing at the door before back to him, "You can put it on the coffee table with all the other stuffs. Probably ten thousand times better than the candy thing I put out. And thanks." Ryosuke opened the front door, revealing not one, but two more guests. Satoshi put his box down on the table, amidst all the things already laid out, straightening his back. The bleached-hair Yankee, greeted the two, taking a bag and retreating back into the house, leaving the bag beside the coffee table, finding a seat in the single recliner. The manager waved, "Hi Mizusawa-senpai, Hino-san!" Not waiting for the action to be returned, he took a seat on the couch, glancing around the room. He had never imagined that one day he would be in a Yankee's house, Wataru's family restaurant an exception of course, and he was surprised to see Ryosuke turn on what looked like a brand new flat screen TV. "Hey, what do you guys watch when you're at home. I don't have any good movies or anything like that..."He leaned against the arm of the couch, "I usually don't watch TV..." He watched the TV, blinking at the cartoon on the screen. Something about a king and... spaghetti? Satoshi blinked again, "Um, but I recently found a sports channel dedicated to rhythmic gymnastics. I know we didn't plan this as a meeting... but," he shrugged, "I just thought you might be interested." He continued to stare at the screen, the cartoon now on commercial, something about... chocolate cereal and schoolbags for grade-schoolers. He saw Mizusawa and Hino enter, but kept his eyes forward. He could see Ryosuke staring back at him, and he fidgeted, clumsily catching the remote thrown his way. He looked down at the remote, quickly scanning the object full of buttons before pressing one. A look at the screen found him with a TV Guide, and he instantly started searching. He finally came upon it, clicking another button. The TV screen was filled with a group just about to perform... ooc: Thank you Lee for providing the youtube link.

OOC: Wataru's outfit: i51.tinypic.com/nc9aq.jpgToday was the big 'boys night out'. It wasn't the first time Wataru stayed over at Ryosuke's place but this was the first time where the entire tumbling team was going to spend the night together. To be honest, Wataru was super excited about what they were going to do and all, thinking of what movies they were going to watch, what games they could play. As he was walking through the neighbourhood streets, he couldnt help but smile to himself. It was going to be a fun day. Picking up the pace a little, he realised he was late and Wataru had his bag slung over his right shoulder. It was heavy. Inside his bag was his fluffy pillow, underwear, his set of sleeping clothes, toothbrush, peppermint flavoured toothpaste, chewing gum, hair wax, jeans and a t-shirt. The pillow made his bag extra crowded, with him having to stuff his other belongings on the side of his bag. Wataru didnt have to bring all of these things, but his mum made sure he was all set to go before he left the house. In his mother's eyes, he seemed to have stopped growing and remained as a child. Yet, he was a bit too overgrown in height to be still considered a 'child'. Turning around the corner of the street, Ryosuke's house was just a few blocks away when Wataru recognised another person not too far from where he was. Nippori was just a few paces infront of the red head yankee, so Wataru jogged and caught up with Nippori, giving him a smack on his back, alerting his presence. "Yo~" Wataru greeted Nippori with a nod, then he continued walking. "Did you bring everything you need? Now that I think about it, is it your first time staying at Ryosuke's house?" Suddenly, Wataru came to a halt, struck hard with the realisation that he forgot to bring his towel. He hit his forehead using his own palm, with a sense of disbelief of how forgetful he can get at times. "Crap....I forgot to bring my towel.." What was he going to do? Run back home and get it? Steal Nippori's towel?Wataru had the urge to walk back home to collect his towel and then make his was back to Ryosuke's place, but then he decided to change his mind. It would be too troublesome. "Ah, forget it, I'll just ask Ryosuke for a spare one." Finally content with his decision, he started to walk again and arrived just outside of Ryosuke's residence, right outside the gate. He whistled at the sight of his house. Wataru has always been surprised at how such a yankee could have came from a house with such style. Then, he swung the gate open and walked towards Ryosuke's front door. OOC: Nippori's next. & just to note, Wataru hasnt actually pressed the doorbell yet XD, cause i reckon Nippori can do the honours.

“Yes, sorry there was just a slight misunderstanding. But it’s ok now.”
Mizusawa took in the other boy's appearance and sucked in a sharp breath. Hino always knew how to dress to impress, at least when he wasn't forced to wear a school uniform or practice outfit. The other boy looked considerably comfortable, despite the fact that they were going to Ryosuke's house.
Mizusawa smiled, despite his slight nervousness a moment before. "I'm glad to hear it," he responded, feeling relieved they'd be able to walk in together. Ryosuke was a good guy, but he'd never been over a Yankee's house before. He didn't know if there were different rules or anything like that, if Ryosuke's parents were Yankees too, or if he had Yankee siblings or something. Then again, if they were all like Ryosuke, it wasn't too bad. He'd just have to adapt.
At that moment, the door opened, revealing a shock of blonde hair and then Ryosuke's charming face. He stared at them for a moment and all the things they were carrying.
"Hey guys..." He noticed the rather heavy amount of supplies Mizusawa had carried with him, including to the food bag, and gestured to the latter on the ground. "Need some help?"
Mizusawa opened his mouth to say it was okay, but the blonde was already reaching down to pick up the bag of food he'd brought with him and ushering them inside.
"Thanks," Mizusawa told him, clapping him on the shoulder with a small smile, before entering the house after Hino. Taking off his shoes at the door, he spoke a quick, "o-jama shimasu," before continuing forward.
The place was decent-sized inside too, and it looked comfy. Like a family home. Again, he wondered if Ryosuke had any siblings, and how many.
"Hi Mizusawa-senpai, Hino-san!"
Spotting Satoshi nearby, he smiled and gave a quick wave.
"Hey, Tsuchiya."
"We won't be starving tonight, at least. Thanks for bringing this. You didn't have to though." Ryosuke carried the bag over to the coffee table and rested it against one of the legs.
Mizusawa shrugged. "It's not a big deal. I think it's only fair--you're hosting us and all. My mom made the okonomiyaki though. I just bought the other stuff." Even though this living room was foreign to him, he was beginning to feel himself relax. Different place, same people. This was the same group of people he enjoyed tumbling with on a daily basis. It almost felt, at the moment, as though they were meeting up for another practice, not just for something fun.
"You can just drop your stuff by the couch if you want. Satoshi only just got here, so we're kinda just waiting on everyone else."
Nodding, he set his bags down and then stuck his now-free hands in his pockets, continuing to look around the room for a moment. He side-glanced at Hino, wondering what the other boy thought about the place. Was Hino's house a lot bigger than this? Smaller? He'd never actually been there before, despite how close they were becoming.
Ryosuke had now sunk into a recliner and was flipping through TV channels, Satoshi on the couch beside him, stopping at some comedy channel. Mizusawa didn't watch a lot of TV anymore, so he didn't recognize it. Which also meant he wouldn't be able to answer Ryosuke's next question either.
"Hey, what do you guys watch when you're at home. I don't have any good movies or anything like that..."
Satoshi was first to answer. He leaned against the arm of the couch, "I usually don't watch TV...Um, but I recently found a sports channel dedicated to rhythmic gymnastics. I know we didn't plan this as a meeting... but," he shrugged, "I just thought you might be interested."
"That sounds good, if you guys don't mind," Mizusawa responded, nodding in Satoshi's direction. He really had no idea what else might be on that could be interesting, and this at least was interesting enough. Moving further into the room, he allowed Hino to take a seat on the couch before sitting down himself.
While Satoshi fumbled with the remote to get to the proper channel, Mizusawa addressed Ryosuke. It only seemed proper not to let the host of the entire sleepover sit by idly. "So...do you have anything planned for the night, Ryosuke?" He was genuinely interested, if Ryosuke had games set up or something. This was probably the biggest sleepover he'd ever attend, after all, so he was sure it was going to be lots of fun.
ooc: Oh my gosh. I call it. Worst. Post. Ever.

Nippori was looking forward to this. He had a little more free time lately, even if he still wasn’t sure how he felt about it. But it meant he could come along to the sleepover, so he was at least somewhat relieved that he wouldn’t have to miss out. He’d never really been to anything like this before, now that he thought about it. His schedule had always been a bit too crammed full of work and/or looking after his siblings. Plus, he had never really had any proper friends as a kid either, and so he’d never had anyone he could have had a sleepover and the like with in the first place. Once again though, he had been encouraged to go and enjoy himself. Hid dad had said something along the lines of ‘How often do you get the chance?’, and Nippori supposed he was right. Even if it was only this once or something, he kinda wanted to just have fun and relax with his friends, because it was probably true he worked too hard, or too much, and he probably missed out sometimes because of that. Not that he was complaining, because he wanted to work for his family, but it would be nice just to chill and not have to worry or stress over anything. And for once, he wasn’t all that worried or concerned. After all, Hinako was more than capable of handling their younger brothers by herself; she had proved that some while ago. And frankly, she was probably better at it than he himself was. A few minutes later, and he was rounding the corner onto Ryosuke’s street, only a minute away from the house now. He practically jumped when someone’s hand smacked him on the back. He was relieved though when he realised it was Aniki, and gave the older boy a bright smile. “Yo!” he greeted brightly in return. “Did you bring everything you need? Now that I think about it, is it your first time staying at Ryosuke’s house?” Wataru asked, and Nippori nodded in response. “I have everything.” He had checked, double-checked, and as a precaution got Hinako to triple-check, that he had everything. “Yeah, this is…my first sleepover, ever,” he said slowly, although he felt a sort of excitement about it. When Wataru suddenly came to a stop, Nippori’s footsteps faltered and he paused, turning and looking around at his friend in time to see him smack his forehead. “Aniki…?” he asked, not managing to get the whole question out before he got a response. “Crap…I forgot to bring my towel. …Ah forget it, I’ll just ask Ryosuke for a spare one.” Nippori followed along beside Wataru as the walked the rest of the short distance along the street. He looked up at the house for a moment before following Wataru through the gate. It was certainly impressive, that was for sure. Pressing the doorbell, blinking at the tune it started to play, he waited for someone to answer the door. ((ooc - outfit is here~ and I apologise for being late with this, and that it’s kinda suckish =/))

ooc: Yuuta's Outfit - kidding! What he is actually wearing <3 ---------------- Yuuta hadn’t expected himself to be this exited for the sleepover – but he was. He was looking forward to hanging out with the Tumbling team, he always enjoyed being together with his friends, even though he wasn’t sure yet of what to expect from a sleepover being held at Ryosuke’s place. He had never visited the Yankee and had no idea where this guy lived. Luckily he had been given a note with a little (kinda messed up) drawing of the way and a written explanation beneath it. He was pretty sure he would find it since he had a quite good sense of direction. He packed his stuff together, including a pillow because he wasn’t so sure if Ryosuke would have enough for them all. An extra blanket couldn’t hurt as well he decided. He stuffed it into his backpack and then paused. He had never had such a huge sleepover. Sure, Mizusawa, Satoshi and Kaneko had stayed over at his place (or he at theirs) several times, sometimes even all of them at the same time, but this was completely different dimensions. He was still kinda wondering how Ryosuke had ended up inviting them all. He had sure a lot to set up and to plan. Yuuta just hoped for the Yankee things wouldn’t go out of hand. He doubted that, though. He frowned, staring at his belongings. Was there anything else to add? He stared at his shelves, deciding that it couldn’t hurt to bring a few games along. He was pretty sure that Ryosuke also owned some kind of gaming platform and since Yuuta had not only a PS2 but also a Wii (and a PSP of course) he just grabbed two games of each platform. Gaming with friends was always quite fun he thought. He also added his notebook for Tumbling to his stuff, wanting to be well prepared in case they would maybe discuss some new choreography. “I am heading off!,” he announced after he had gone downstairs. “Already?” His Mom appeared outta the kitchen, carrying a package while checking the clock. “Well, then take this with you. I made some onigiri you boys can eat. Take care. And don’t stay up too long.”“Haiiii…” Yuuta slipped on his shoes, trying very hard not to roll his eyes. His Mom really tended to be very protective of her only child. “And Yuuta, you should invite this boy in reverse to thank him for having you, alright?”“Hai.” Yuuta grabbed the package and smiled at his Mom, never being able to be really annoyed with her. “I will back by tomorrow. I dunno when, though. Don’t worry. Have a nice evening with tousan.” His Mom smiled in return and kissed his cheek which made Yuuta roll his eyes at her before he waved at her and turned to leave the house while already fumbling with his iPod. It wasn’t easy to be an only child… Yuuta enjoyed the little walk while listening to his current favourite JRock artist, humming softly along. He was wondering about the evening and how it would turn out. Sure, he was really excited for this but he was also a bit unsure how this would work. In his (often quite vivid) imagination turned up pictures of spin the bottle, everyone making up the most horrible dares – especially horrible with a bunch of guys. He felt a shiver running down his spine and he shook his head. This would be a fun evening. Another good time for the team to form stronger bonding’s, to get closer (oh god, spin the bottle mental picture again!) and to strengthen their teamwork. Plus hanging out with his friends for a whole evening was just amazing! Checking his note he noticed that he arrived and was a bit astonished by the house in front of him. He had always guessed that Ryosuke must come from a not so poor family. His clothing looked quite expensive at least. The house looked quite nice and Yuuta was sure that everyone would have a great time. While coming closer he noticed two people in front of the door, one of them having quite vivid red hair. Wataru and Nippori! He hurried up to get to them. “Hello you two!,” he greeted. “Have you rang the bell yet?” Without waiting for their answer he pressed the doorbell, freezing slightly when a quite… tuneful sound was heard. He had to bit down on his lip to stifle his laughter, sharing a glance with Wataru and Nippori. ---- ooc: me no likes the post... and... I just had to make Yuuta ring the bell again xD

ooc: This is the shirt Kaneko's mother picked for him hereic: Kaneko stared at the t-shirt is mother had set out for him and laid on his bed. "MOM!" he yelled and a few seconds later his mother showed up on his door. " What's wrong darling?" she asked. "I am so not wearing this!" Kaneko said grabbing the shirt. " Eh..?! Why not? It looks good on you!" "Mom! The last time I wore this I was 12 and that was because you forced me!" " Ah... you were such a good child back then... Now mommy can't even dress you up anymore" she said pouting. Kaneko looked at her, not sure if he should laugh or throw a fit. He mentally counted till ten and slowly walked towards his mother. "Mom... No... Never again... I love you but... This is too much... I'm way too old for this" She nodded, still with a sad expression on her face which was quickly replaced by a smirk. " Is there going to be a girl there?" Kaneko blushed and started pushing his mother out from his room. "No and stop having strange thoughts!" He closed the door and sighed. He walked back to his bed and checked his bag once again. "Toothbrush... towel... Pillow... Pants... Oh I need a shirt" Kaneko opened his closet and opted for a plain black shirt. Passing next to his desk he wondered if he should bring some DVDs. He was pretty sure Ryosuke had plenty of them (and probably a few of them were of a specific kind...). "Well, I'll grab some anyway" Kaneko picked a few action movies and showed them on his bag. "Perfect. Time to go" *** Ryosuke gave him the directions of his house but he had to wrote it down on a paper or he would definitely got lost. While walking towards his destination, Kaneko thought about this special night: sure he had already slept over at his other friends' houses, but this was the first time the whole new Tumbling Team planned something like this. What are we going to do? Watch movies? Play games? Do other stupid things? Not that he really cared. Kaneko had always been the geek type and the first real friends he made was when he joined the team... and, well... there was Keiko... So he was really looking forward to this. As long as he could spend a nice night with the others, he was happy. Kaneko checked the directions he wrote down once again. Luckily he convinced Ryosuke to repeat them to him slowly again and again so he had been able to write them out as correctly as he could. He turned a corner and walked a few meters when he noticed on the other end of the street a guy. He looks... familiar?Kaneko adjusted his glasses and kept walking as silently as possible: if it was one of the guys, they could go for the rest of the way together. If it was one of those yankees who kept looking around for Wataru and the others, he could always walk back and as far away as possible. But when he moved closer and realized who the person was, he sighed and relaxed. "Hey! Don't tell me you got lost" -------------------------- ooc: it's pretty obvious who Kaneko met... it's someone who has a bad sense of directions

OOC: If this post reads like a pile of garbage that's been sitting outside for too long, then that's because it is! However, in my defense, I had to reply to all five of the new responses to the thread being the "host" and allzies, and also....... >< I had to godplay Hino a bit because Boe is resting! I hope it's okay!
"It's not a big deal. I think it's only fair--you're hosting us and all. My mom made the okonomiyaki though. I just bought the other stuff."
Ryosuke, settled on his recliner now, gestureing over to the open spots next to Satoshi for Mizusawa and Hino to sit down. "That's nice of your Mom.....I bet it'll be really good too." He hesitated and had to use everything in his power to keep from adding, "That's something my Mom would never do....."
He turned his attention back to Satoshi and the TV. The poor boy looked baffled, and Ryosuke had to refrain from laughing. That kid was so darn cute. If it wasn't his voice, it was always something else. It felt weird having someone like him or Mizusawa and Hino in his home, sitting on the same couch Ryosuke typically avoided if only because it was his rather distant parents usually using it.
"I usually don't watch TV...Um, but I recently found a sports channel dedicated to rhythmic gymnastics. I know we didn't plan this as a meeting... but..." Satoshi shrugged. "I just thought you might be interested."
Ryosuke smiled and glanced at an agreeing Mizusawa before thumping his head against the soft leather of the recliner to gesture nodding. "I can't think of anything else we could watch anyway!" He tossed Satoshi the remote and watched him fumble with it for a moment--he pondered for a quick second if the underclassman wasn't really quite so TV-savvy--then turned his attention to Mizusawa as his classmate spoke. Hino was being oddly quiet.
"So...do you have anything planned for the night, Ryosuke?"
"To be honest? No." Ryosuke cracked his trademark grin and laughed. "Call me a bad host, but really, I'm not sure. I'm kinda the "improvise-as-you-go" type. And actually, this is one of my first real sleepovers. I don't really have any idea what I'm doing."
He realized how lame that sounded, especially having called being the host of this whole thing, getting everything set up and inviting everyone over, and yet not having a plan, and quickly shook his head.
"Anyway, no worries. I still think it'll be fun, and now we've got about ten tons of food--"
Ding dong ding dong...ding dong ding dong!
"Oh God...." Ryosuke was out of his seat the moment the awful tune began. It was good to know others were arriving, but he was beginning to wonder how much more of his own damned doorbell he'd be able to handle. And more than that, he wasn't sure his parents would continue to put up with it either. He didn't mind annoying them, so much, because he got the feeling his entire existence was just one giant annoyance to them, but having them come downstairs and make trouble for his friends was not only embarrassing to imagine, but something he really wanted to avoid.
He pouted on his way to the door. Guess I could always offer them some food... he thought bitterly.
He wasn't even at the door to greet the new arrivals before the doorbell tune began again--
Ding dong ding dong...
Ryosuke gritted his teeth. "AAAGHHHH! Okay, my money's on Wataru. He knows how much I hate this damn thing....." Rushing forward the last few steps to the entrance and tripping over Hino's shoes, Ryosuke reached forward and flung the front door open to find....
Wataru.
Wataru, Nippori, and Yuuta. Interesting combination, but Ryosuke was glad to see them nonetheless. And if this had been a real bet, he would be just that much richer.
He raised an eyebrow at them from the doorway, folding his arms across his chest. "Okay. Now before you come inside....who rang it?"
OOC: Okay, so for whoever posts next, feel free to ignore Ryosuke and just storm into the house so we can continue!!! ^0^/ (I guess that's close to a Wataru/Nippori-type thing?)

OOC: Sorry that this took sooooooooo long, and that this isn't good. D:
A sleepover?
What's that?
Kiyama wasn't dumb, he knew what one was. He just didn't know why he was going to one. Or... what it would be like. As far as he knew, sleepovers were a thing strictly reserved for girls... but then again, he'd learned not to judge activities like that, hadn't he? Still, he'd seen the shows on television where girls do each others' makeup and gossip about boys... but what do guys do?
He stood in front of his closet, an old duffel bag in hand. He didn't know what to pack, and he was seriously beginning to doubt that he should even bother trying to figure it out. The event was being hosted at Tsukimori Ryosuke's house.
Kiyama was quite sure... Tsukimori hadn't quite gotten over that thing that had happened not too long ago.
It already seemed like every other night the team was hanging out at Wataru's mom's restaurant or Tsuchiya's folks' bathhouse. Despite everyone becoming closer recently, Kiyama remained awkward around a few of the members, and just everyone in general... but somehow, he was being guilted into attending yet another group function. Because those were always wonderful ideas... like that camping trip! It had left him with so many fond memories...
"It'll be fun," he mumbled under his breath. "It's not like you have anything else to do. Don't be in such a stick in the mud..."
He continued grumbling for the rest of the evening, and he toured his house, gradually filling it with things he deemed appropriate for any overnight trip.
...how the hell?
Kiyama inspected the street corner he was on before turning his attention back to the wrinkled piece of paper he held in his hand.
This was not Kiyama's first time trying to make his way to Tsukimori's house. This wasn't even Kiyama's second time trying to make his way to Tsukimori's house. The more times you do something, the better you're supposed to get at, he'd thought. He was already substantially more lost than the last time he'd tried to get to the blonde yankee's house, and that last time was after dark.
He'd attempted to write down directions from one of those online map sites before he'd left, but they didn't seem to do any good. He squinted at the paper, as if it would help him understand the directions written there better. He idly adjusted the strap of the duffel bag on his shoulder, while trying to keep what was in a large paper bag as stable as possible -- it was a bit of a peace offering for the Tsukimoris, and as silly and as small as it was, he didn't want it to get messed up before he got there.
"Hey! Don't tell me you got lost," came a voice from behind him.
Kiyama looked up from his directions and turned around to see that familiar short kid, which the glasses and the shaved head...
Kaneko!
The yankee let out a sigh of relief before waving to his classmate. Kiyama didn't know the other boy all that well, but Kaneko always seemed like the type to know what was what.
He watched as the boy approached him, smiling a bit.
"Well... I won't tell you, then," Kiyama uttered dryly, slipping the directions into his pocket.

ooc: sorry this is not much, but I hope it's enough for Lee to work something out!
ic:
When the other guy turned around, Kaneko was happy he got it right. It was Kiyama. Who really looked lost for a moment but when Kiyama saw him, Kaneko was quite sure the other sighed in relief. "Well... I won't tell you, then," Kiyama uttered dryly Okay, Kiyama wasn't in a good mood. Kaneko sort of understood him: even if they had been in the same team for a while, he knew the other was not too "friendly like". He was sure it was all related to what happened in his past, but Kaneko hoped his team mate would feel more comfortable with them. They couldn't act like a team if there wasn't mutual trust and understanding.
Maybe this is a chance to talk a bit Kaneko thought. "It's okay. Ryosuke is not very clear when it comes to directions.." Kaneko showed the paper where he wrote down what the other had told him that morning.
"I had to actually beg him to repeat them slowly so I could write them down properly and even made him read that." He smiled at the other, remembering how long it actually took him to get all the directions right.
"Since we met, we can go together there, okay?" Kiyama nodded and they started walking together towards their destination.
The streets were empty, except the occasional passers by who were probably going back home. Kaneko was actually facing a problem: he had no idea what to talk about with the other.
Rhythmic gymnastic? Nah, they'll probably talk a lot about that during the night.
Manga? Did Kiyama even like them?
Movies? Kaneko wondered for a moment what was the last movie he saw: "Return of the Jedi" He stole a glance at Kiyama: I doubt that's something he might like
What else? Sports? What sports? He never heard Kiyama mention about him playing other sports, nor Wataru said something about it.
Games?
Girls? Girls?! Kaneko shook his head: there was no way he could talk about something like that with Kiyama. Besides, it wasn't like he had problems on that side anyway. Right now Kaneko was focused on only two things: rhythmic gymnastic and graduation. And then there was Keiko... We are just friends! Kaneko thought, mentally slapping himself.
Kaneko sighed, his mind not fully co-operating with him at the moment. He checked at the directions again, noticing they were going on the right way, before lifting his gaze: the sky was full of stars. "Wow... it's really beautiful.." he said almost to himself, not sure if Kiyama heard him at all.

"It's okay. Ryosuke is not very clear when it comes to directions.." Kaneko held up his own slip of directions for Kiyama to inspect. The other boy went on. ""I had to actually beg him to repeat them slowly so I could write them down properly and even made him read that."
The yankee eyed it before nodding again. Kaneko smiled at the taller boy, which prompted Kiyama to attempt one of his own. He still wasn't all too happy that he would be spending that evening in some awkward team gathering he wagered would go horribly wrong in some respect... but little gestures like that it easier to resign himself to his fate.
"Since we met, we can go together there, okay?"
"Ah," was all Kiyama said to reply. The two started walking towards the residential area of town.
The truth was that Kiyama couldn't put his relief and gratefulness in words. The first reason was a given. He was just really lost and needed someone to bail him out.
The second, and more important reason was that he didn't want to show up at Tsukimori's house alone. By his lonesome, he had this lingering feeling that if the blonde -- or any of his family, for that matter -- opened the door to just Kiyama, they'd slam it in his face. He wondered if Kaneko and the others had noticed anything going on between the two yankees... or maybe, if one of them knew something that he didn't about the blonde's situation. Kiyama was still concerned and curious, though from his perspective, Tsukimori was doing alright in the day-to-day things. Kiyama know how little that could mean, but there wasn't a whole lot else he could do about the situation at that point...
A few sidelong glances seemed to show that the shorter boy was also deep in thought... but though something in his movements revealed that he was nervous, as well. Was Kaneko uncomfortable? Was Kiyama making him uncomfortable? The yankee his lip, unsure of what to say, or even if he should try to address that. Kaneko talked a lot, but he was really smart and really nice. Unfortunately, that was about the extent of Kiyama's familiarity with the other boy.
So the two walked in silence for a while.
"Wow... it's really beautiful.." he heard his classmate say, almost dreamily. Kiyama looked at the boy beside him before looking upwards himself. When had it gotten that dark, and when did it start looking like that?
Above him was a great starry plane, and thinking of the hundreds of millions of stars and planets and galaxies he'd learned were every corner of existence, it made him feel really small. It made him nostalgic for things he'd never got to do, and think of people he tried not to think about any more and...
"Yeah... it is."
Kiyama froze in his tracks, eyes straight forward. He'd done it yet again. He'd said one of those silly, overly sentimental things unbefitting of a yankee.
Immediately, he shook his head. In an attempt for a recovery, he suddenly interjected, "what are we doing?"
Did that even make sense? Kiyama closed his eyes for a minute, arranging his thoughts. When he opened them again, he looked to Kaneko, hoping that what he was about to say sounded less silly than the what he'd uttered before.
"At the sleepover, I meant. What are we doing? I've... never been to one."
